Secret Santa surprises beloved piano teacher with the gift of a lifetime

The EastIdahoNews.com team is busy helping a local Secret Santa give $1 million to deserving people in eastern Idaho this holiday season. Every day, from now until Christmas, we will post videos of the recipients being surprised with these life-changing gifts.
Beverly is a devoted piano teacher who is truly passionate about cultivating the love of music in kids. This single mother always does so with kindness, patience and genuine encouragement.
Beverly teaches piano to over 50 students each year and is always organizing free recitals for retirement homes, local veterans and families.
Bev’s positive attitude and hopeful outlook on life - and on teaching the piano - is inspiring. She lives on a VERY strict budget as teaching piano is her only source of income and has been for decades.
Last year, her elderly mother moved in with her and Bev somehow manages to take care of her, while still juggling a busy piano studio schedule that starts before 6 a.m. every and lasts well into the evening each night. She works so hard and never complains about anything.
She purchased her pianos decades ago and got it for a bargain price from a friend. Her dream has been to own a new piano but she knows that will never be possible given her financial situation.
Secret Santa asked us to pay a visit to Bev and drop off an early Christmas gift. Check out the surprise in the video player above!

The fact that you guys go to these houses fully equipped and ready not only once, but sometimes 3-4 times and sometimes wait for quiet long minutes or hours for them to appear makes me respect and love you guys for what you do even more. This might be my favorite story this year. I LOVE that her 35 year old piano is now an heirloom and her keyboard is helping a young girl with her music studies. heart-warming on every level.

They did marry, but he didn't have a chance to move into her home. He died very quickly.

Same goes for this tough old firefighter. Beverly has a humble heart and didn't hesitate to continue the blessing of giving. She clearly knew where her other 2 pianos were going.
That's the reason why I am here. I love Secret Santa, his recipients and the team of Nate. I have already watched it for three years. But I love as well the videos of good policemen and firefighters, who risk their lives and sacrifice themselves for the others. It is such a wonderful feeling to know there are so many amazing people out there. All over the world. God bless all of you!

Okay, so now my eyes are leaking! When she was reading the note and suddenly just couldn't speak, I lost it. She plays beautifully, so glad she played for us. Looks like she picked out a beautiful piano and is passing on the one's she had to others so they can keep spreading the music and love. Secret Santa really got this one right. I gotta say Nate and the team are the most likable people ever. They are so nice and give off a very warm aura. Seeing y’all gathered around that piano and singing Christmas music as complete strangers solidified that for me.

Her Mom bragging on her student number, with such Pride in her daughter, was Priceless,& that her only daughter is following in her footsteps,& will now have the Treasured piano she was taught on, to teach others on, is a testament to the experience & the Joy of Learning from Her Mom!!! Ahh lovely she deserves that so much, I had a piano teacher at one time she was much more elderly lived in a fascinating house where upstairs went uphill into the bathroom 😂 and her little doggie had a tail that wagged up and down rather than side to side 🥰
