Wonderful, truly wonderful. My dear old dad's favourite group and and my darling mum's favourite song. Dad's been gone 16 years and more, whilst mum went in mid-2009. I miss them so badly that at times it is unbearable. So, this song makes me happy to think of them but also makes me cry so much. RIP mum and dad, I know I will see you both again one day.
My Late Father-In-Law, 'JIMMY DUNN,' Was The Guitarist In The 1947 Band : The New Style Swing-Tet. .... There Wasn't A Moment When I Went To See Him, That He Never Played The Mills Brothers LP Record. .... Please Get In-Touch If Anyone Out There Remembers Jim. .... I'm 56 Now, & I Still Can't Stop Playing Their Tunes. .... Bless The Internet.
my fathers favorite,, i discovered these men on the day that he died,,these guys were perfect in so many ways, thanks to this time machine we call youtube, we can all listen to real music
Dean Martin patterned himself after Harry Mills (far right). Not Crosby, that guy. And we all know he is the king of cool :) Wish music still sounded like this...
