Hey, thanks for trying Figmotion. I just wanted to chime in on the "buginess". It's mostly an expectation issue, as we have heard a bit from the community. Due to the way Figma's plugin API is built it is not possible to listen for changes to your nodes. This means that when you add a keyframe and move the node afterwards it won't pick up that value. Either you need to add the keyframe after moving it or click the keyframe and use the brush icon in the editor to update the value. Would love it if you adjusted your comments on this a little bit 🙏
Thanks for the feedback! I was wondering if this was the case. I spent a half hour trying it out and couldn’t catch what was making it work sometimes and sometimes not. I’ll add something in the comments and give this its own special video once I figure it out :)
Rather than duplicating and placing every single circle. You can just duplicate 1st circle and place it at desired location, then simply press Ctrl+D as many times you like. It's really handy feature :)
You’re right, and I knew about that. I have just found sometimes it doesn’t snap in the precise location on drag so I use my arrows to nudge in place and then the ctr +D doesn’t work as intended so I default to the archaic way :/
Love the vid. One comment, if you have blank columns before (left of) the column you are referencing in importing the data into your table, it wont import. I was confused why it wasnt working. I guess rule of thumb is all columns up until the ones you are importing must be filled?
In sketch you can command click to get the component level, and command drag an area to get a bunch instead of one by one. Figma keeps going below that to the overrides which is a pain. Is there a way to just get the component?
I tried to watch this but it is entirely to grainy. Unable to watch it all the way through because it hurt my eyes. It would be nice if you could re-upload it.
Hey! Thanks for the feedback! Because this was just barely uploaded, UA-cam is still processing the higher quality version. They first process a low quality to get it out there and then about 30 minutes to an hour later the quality increases. Give it an hour or so and you’ll have an excellent quality version :)
@@AppDesignTips Holy smokes you replied, and fast too. Your welcome and thank you for the info. I didn't know that UA-cam did that. I will check back in a few. Guess I caught it as soon as you posted it. lol

@@AppDesignTips awesome, really appreciate you trying it out either way 🙌
Knowing this, seems like that could be built in the UI as a direct warning. 'Remember to _____________' [Ok]
@@Ki-Lessons yes definitely something that needs to be communicated better for expectation management
You are the best teacher in figma ever
