Donate Shelf-Stable Food in Red Barrels This Summer at Albertsons Vons Pavilions until Aug. 20

Support the Jacobs & Cushman San Diego Food Bank’s 14th annual Summer Food Drive now until August 20! Our iconic red food drive barrels will be inside all 75 Albertsons, Vons and Pavilions stores throughout the county all summer long. Drop off donations of nonperishable and unopened food items to help stock the Food Bank’s warehouse shelves. Each barrel can hold up to 200 pounds of food! Not sure what to donate? Here’s a list of our most needed food items to help you decide, which includes: canned meats, canned fish, canned vegetables, canned fruits, canned soups & stews, peanut butter, cereal and oatmeal.
