I’m honestly amazed by how many fans this World Cup has brought in. Even though I’ve loved football all my life this was the first women’s World Cup I’ve ever watched (as weird as it sounds as a female football fan) and honestly I’ve loved it. I mean 4 years ago with the women’s World Cup I was oblivious that the tournament was actually occurring and now in 2019 pretty much the whole country (myself included) was so emotionally involved with the tournament. The sport just keeps growing and growing!
Everything about women’s football today makes me realise how far men’s football has strayed from its original meaning and intentions. It’s not on this vid ( as they didn’t/ couldn’t film in the stadium), but Viv’s tears at final whistle was heartbreaking- she really wants to lift that cup in an orange shirt. I really hope she does next time x

It was the first time the World Cup was transmitted on TV here in my country. It was so cool to see all your games! Congrats for everybody! (and sorry for my bad english) (I was cheering for Netherlands since my grandfather was from the Netherlands :P)

Well done girls, thanks for the football but for me personally - thanks for NO rolling/diving about screaming when tackled and just getting on with the game !
Omg I'm so glad to hear there will be a next season!! This last one has been an absolute blast. I'm sad that the Netherlands lost but they played their hearts out despite one less day of rest and a 120 min game before that. So many teams surprised me this world cup and I can't wait for the Olympics and Euro to start💪 I don't know that many online challenges tbh but I'd love to see Viv and Lisa do the whisper challenge xD

thanks for the video's! I'd hardly seen any football in my life, so my enthusiasm for this world cup was a surprise. I even bought a ball to practice in the yard :) These video's give a nice insight in what it means to be a professional football player - though I still have many questions. Like how does the salary and working conditions compare to female or male players of other sports (eg field hockey)? Obviously there's a large (pay) gap with the male football players but maybe that's because their salaries are ridiculously high? And I suppose the male footballers of say Sparta Rotterdam also don't make enough to support them after their football years are over? And I wondered, do the men footballers of the clubs where you play come and watch your games, or is there no interaction/interest? Thanks again, I especially enjoy Lisa's bits because of the Scottish and because Vivianne keeps popping up, giving Lisa (& the camera) some sweet smiles. Awww!

Yeah! The 2019 Women's World Cup was amazing. It was even watched by huge fans in India as well. Many, including myself, were hooked on.
