Hi, Thanks for the really good video. My mechanic has had mine for over two weeks with the replacement engine and I am now loosing my patience, so im thinking of tackling this myself. My question is when replacing the engine is there any reprogramming to do on ECU or anything. Thanks guys.
I have been having a huge issue with my 2003 gtx 4 tec supercharger and water is coming in from the back. It's coming from a black tube that comes up into a small black circle box the out the back. I cant find any diagram of what it is.
Hello! I know this is a long shot, but I am working on a 2004 GTX 4tec supercharged ski, and I cant seem to locate the tell tail connection on the motor/exhaust, it is broke somewhere under the motor, and filling the haul when riding... Does anyone happen to know where this small hose connects? TIA!
I have an 2005 rxp 215 it threw a rod I actually have a 2007 seadoo gtx non super charged motor laying around will it jus drop right in using the all the rxp components, minus the super charger or will I need a new ecm an harness an gauge cluster also
You most definitely can do it that way. But reinstalling is not easy to get it all lined back up. I used to never remove the pump but now I find it a much smoother process without the risk of damage of any kind.
Most complete seadoo engine removal video I have seen yet.
Thanks for uploading this. You had all the little tips and tricks I needed to see. I was able to get mine ready to pull out in about 4 hours.
Great video. Very helpful. Specially the home made tool to hold the shaft in place great idea.

Buddy that's a great home-made tool! If it works and don't damage nothin it's a good tool! Especially if it's cheap!
What company would you recommend for remanufactured rotax engines. I have a 2005 rxp supercharged that threw a rod thru the block
Sorry for a late comment but do you think this seadoo would be a good candidate for a jetjon swap… my buddy basically gave me his 03 seadoo gtx
Absolutely
What was wrong with the motor on this one? We've got water intake and I'm trying to figure out whether or not we need to yank the motor.
It had a rod knocking
@@JunkinTreasures ours had a spun bearing. Replaced the short block.
Great Informative Video👍👍 Good Job... New Subscriber✔ from Bermuda🗺🌏🤗

Sounds like someone didn't know how to properly break in the engine for it to failure at low hours
