I don't know about PLR but addiction can be overcome by sheer will power. Try to develop indomitable will power and refuse to give into the cravings. In the start, it will be quite difficult but slowly, this habit can be overcome. Usually it takes some time to get rid of bad habits. Even if you fail and give into your craving for alcohol sometimes, never give up your goal of being alcohol free. Make progress no matter how small, and a day will come when alcohol addiction will be a thing of the past. Listening and reading sacred scriptures and doing Bhakti of God will also be quite helpful in giving up this habit
