Figoin looks like such a winner. Been fun this season playing around with letting some varieties dry on the tree, amazing the complexity some of them get as they dry down.
Nice Figs! My main interest is avocado. Does your friend whose Nimlioh video you posted have a channel or contact? I’m Interested in buying Nimlioh trees and would like to know where he got the tree bc it is an Hierloom not easily available. Do you think the Deanna fig and The yellow long neck are the same fig? Never hear anything about Deanna. I have several Deanna and amazing massive tennis ball sized honey figs.
Hey Evan. Welcome to figs, haha. That sticky honey in the Figoin is my favorite part of eating figs. The Elba is definitely not mature. That pulp color is a sure sign. You'll see some bigger ones in ground. Certainly not huge though.
I figured this wasn’t a fair fight with the Elba not ripening properly. Maybe next year. That dried Figoin was next level! Hope your season is going excellent so far, my friend!
It’s tough to say because they are so different. I really enjoyed the flavor intensity of the fully ripe fig but also really loved the thick honey texture of the dried fig. I would probably lean towards the dried fig…it was incredible.
Nice orchards!! Can we contact you for cuttings. Thx

It truly is amazing, my friend, and also a great new experience.
Do you sell cuttings of figoin, is it the real verdino del nord, I’ve been trying to get that variety for a long time, do you have a figbid account
There’s a couple different varieties that go by the same name. This Figoin was purchased from Harvey who sourced his from Bass at Trees of Joy.
What happened to orchard? Do a update

Do you like the figoin fully ripe more or dried on the tree more?

From whathing your videos, becoming interested in campaniere and figoin. It should work well for me in Denver CO. Thanks.
They’re both fantastic early varieties. Both very productive and vigorous!
