- [Minecraft Error Fixed] internal exception: io.netty.handler.codec.decoderexception: java | Aternos | TLauncher
Are you getting any of the following error message for Minecraft while connecting it to TLauncher from Aternos server:
“internal exception: io.netty.handler.codec.decoderexception: java.lang.indexoutofboundsexception: readerindex(30) + length(1) exceeds writerindex(30): pooledunsafedirectbytebuf(ridx: 30, widx: 30, cap: 30)”
Or
“lost connection: Internal Exception: io.netty.handler.codec.DecoderException: java.io.IOException: Packet 0/6 (yz) was larger than I expected, found 30 bytes extra whilst reading packet 6”
Here are 5 ways to fix this error:
Step 1 - Connect To Minecraft Launcher With The Server Address or With Direct Connect
Server example --- xyz.aternos.me
Step 2 - Check Server Is Online and Showing Green Status
Step 3 - Try DynIP To Connect To Minecraft Launcher
Step 4 - Clear all the mods and then re-downloaded them
• Sign into your Aternos account
• Go to “Files”
• In front of “Packs”, you need to press on Delete
• Now, go to “Software”
• Go to “Forge”
• Check the version of the Forge or install the same version as your server
Step 5 - Clear Host Cache In Web Browser and Computer
Here Are Steps To Clear DNS Host Cache from Chrome:
• Open Google Chrome
• In address bar, enter “chrome://net-internals/#dns” and press Enter
• In DNS, enter domain name and click Lookup
• Tap on “Clear host cache”
Here Are Steps To Clear DNS Cache from System:
• In Windows search, type “Command Prompt”
• Right click over it and select Run as administrator
• In Command Prompt, enter command “ipconfig /flushdns” and press Enter
