If you blow your hair our first, and use a comb to smooth the hair as you use the flat iron, you should only need to do one solid pass at 350. Hair came out beautiful!

8 months is a long time without a trim (1 inch or less). Also since you washed your hair, if you were to blowdry with a round brush, you wouldn't have to use 3 passes with the flat iron. Also when you flat iron you should chase it with a comb. Sorry, in a salon, that's how the pros get the best results in the least damaging way. And lastly, idk you but if your curl pattern is disappearing definitely deep conditioning weekly and trying repairing conditioners along with reg trims will give you good hair health.
I discovered Amika in 2013 at a hair show in Long Beach and their products are soooo heavy and made so much build up in my curly hair. This is the first product that you reviewed that I hate.. welpp..at least you're as gorgeous as ever girl.

I love your videos and noticed how one side of your hair doesn’t come out as straight as the other (you mentioned that too few times). Try switching your hand to get more even results. It should give you better results, but it can come out worse as well if you’re really uncomfortable with your non dominant hand, still worth giving a try

hello! quick question: do the revlon one step and the straightener/round brush in the dyson set provide the same result in terms of straightness/shine/longevity? Im debating between the two tools and if they're similar in result, I would go with the dyson as it avoids heat damage I'm told. but if revlon performs better, I would just go with that. Does the dyson actually reduce damage compared to the revlon? Thank you!

You should always use a comb when straightening your hair as it makes it go poker straight and u would of only had to do it once x
