There happens to be just enough room for the umbrella. The hooks leave a slight indent on the floor mat. You do have to remember to fold down or up *both seats at the same time*. Or remove the umbrella before folding.

Great idea for the fit, but what happens to the umbrella if you fold down the seats

Cool. I just put mine between the space between the door and the seats. It is a personal umbrella and it "fit". Lol.
Nice :) Not so great after using the umbrella in the rain, I imagine.
I have pockets in that space for storage of random stuff :D
