Perfect !
great music bruv
its so cool to heard the nuke reference of kursgesagt at the start of this song (a veeeeery heavy bell ring)
Yay
These small references to the Nuke A City soundtrack make it just even better
Yeah! I always love about these soundtracks that they have little leitmotifs in them when the videos are about something similar as another video :)
I wanted to comment on that. I watched a video, and when they drew comparisons to explosion on earth, I noticed that tune shifted to "nuke a city"
Could you point me where in the video it happens?
@@benjamin3485 For example the 'gong' sounds at around 2:07, or these warp sounds beginning at 2:34. Also just noticed the bell at the very beginning was also used in the All The Bombs soundtrack when the nukes detonated as well
@@lazarusboi6289 Ahhh that's cool, thanks!
Kurgesagt: We making videou about nuking the moon
Epic mountain: Got it, so an absolute bop then
Pretty much ;-)
legitimately as i was watching the vid, as soon as i caught wind of the bgm i was like, "hold up, wait a minute, this a bop"
@@Monochrome2004 same lol this is a banger, first soundtrack I looked into outside the vid
@@willmungas8964 This bangs
kurzgesagt: we're making a video -about nuking the moon-
epic mountain: got it, absolute bop then
Kurzgesagt: Wha if...?
Any object in space: i'm in danger
Kurzgesagt: You're in danger
first 3 mins of a Kurzgesagt video: this thing is really dangerous and probobly will kill humanity.
later...: nvm we good for sum few million years
@@calamitystonez Are you latvian?
True
Kurzgeagt: What if we nuke the [whatever object] Any object in space : I’m in danger NOW THATS BETTER! ;)
Literal chills when 'Nuke a City' horn drops
I know right!? And then the tense strings from throughout the rest of the song come back, it’s like the horn is just for earth nukes, and the strings are just for moon nukes

U guys nuke my brain comprehending how ur so good at music
Haha! We appreciate a good play with words :-)
@@Epicmountainmusicthey’re called puns :)
It's really a good music. reminded me of interstellar
it was the first that came to my mind too, i think it's because of the organ
Yeah I think the same too
This song is perfect for an sci-fi movie ending scene just like interstellar just a little more intense
Thank you so much!
@@Epicmountainmusic BTW best music I've ever heard!
I literally can't get over how good this song is. First time I've gone out of my way to hunt it down
It's on Spotify now, if you want to stalk us there as well ;-) spoti.fi/37oYstx
same it was such a frickin sick vibe and I loved it
imagine you're just chillin' on the moon and then you hear this start to play
ok jokes aside this is an absolute banger
Why do I hear boss music?
Yes
How do you hear this in the moon if there's no air?
Someone nukes the moon me on the moon here we go again
@@Taro-yt4tk maybe a speaker in your helmet
Something makes me happy about actual education being praised similarly to big movies and video games. You'd never think of listening to an OST for a documentary or even putting music to something like a lecture. Here, however, we have not only phenomenal educational value, but an ethereal soundtrack. Absolutely brilliant work.
Music acts as a beautiful connector if the context to what it is applied for already works well. And if it's synchronized with some good tunes, it makes it stand out to us.
Your songs go into my playlists the moment I see that they exist, before I even listen to them...which is saying a lot. I don't just throw random songs into them. Your music complements and enhances every single Kurzgesagt video, and it's amazing how high-quality your work is. That organ is just perfect, and I like the sort of..."gritty" is the only way I can describe this tone. It feels like something terrible is going to happen and something terrible must be done to stop it, or like Humanity has made their last mistake. Whenever you guys upload, it's always a delight to me and a splash of fuel for my creativity. Keep on doing great things, guys, and remember that it's okay to rest if you need to!
Thank you so so much! Glad you like it
Really gave me Hans Zimmer Interstellar vibes at the key points of the video
@@zacharyhull7612 I was thinking the same thing when I first heard it lol
You said it!
The lead really reminds me of a emergency breaking news forecast
If someone had told me this was from interstellar I would have believed them, this is amazing
Although some instruments do remember interstellar, the rythm and melody are completely different from most interstellar musics
Good to remember that on most of the interstellar soundtrack, the musics have a metronome clicking in the background,
also there seemingly aren't many digital instruments, its mostly pipe organ and piano.
I thought about game called Furi.
This sounds like a good theme song for a game about space.
8 bit too
This is exactly was it’s meant for.
I was playing No mans sky when I first discovered this song whilst on Spotify trying to find good music in my discover weekly.
a bit late, but it would fit perfectly into a stellaris music mod
like space station 13?
"This little maneuver will cost us our moon base!"
I might have just found one of my new favourites
me too!
I thank God that Kurzgesagt chose Epic Mountain as their soundtrack maker partner.
This music is badass
Thanks so much!
@@Epicmountainmusic I agree you are amazing
No shit Sherlock
Makes me think of a nuclear war in the cold war and people in space can see the explosions go off with the mushrooms pushing into space itself.
Next to alien scale and Dyson sphere, this is one of my favorites, there’s a pattern in there somewhere.
You like EMM's space related music?
@@shivannapv4262 yeah more than likely, they’re at the top of my epic mountain playlist on Spotify
There are patterns everywhere.
My favorite would be this one and the fermi paradox. It just sticks in my memory XD
What about stellar engine? Its up there with them too
as the kids today would say "yo this music slaps"
and they would be damn right
no we dont
Nah many of us would call this a bop
@@woutijland4983 or a banger
No they say damn lit bruh sus 69420 nobody: who's here after 2010
I have a question for Epic Mountain Music. How many how many people are part of Epic Mountain Music?
would like to know too
2 people i think
A team look at their spotify description
They said a team works together. And they take turns composing for each video.
Hello :-) we are a team and will try to stay as anonymous as possible - we are pretty shy
This is the most underrated high quality music UA-cam ever recommended me, great work!
even the fbi is impressed, sheehs

What is not to love about the mightiest human made devices? if they are not raining on you ofc...
explosions are fun, nuff said
who wouldnt love a weapon thats basically the definition of chaos and mass destruction?

Coolio! Glad you like it!
The wormholes soundtrack is also kickass
Whenever I listen to this, I feel like I'm taking part in some kind of epic science research, when I'm actually just doing chem homework
This has become one of my favorite songs from you guys barely ten seconds in. It is truly amazing!
absolute banger of a soundtrack
This song sounds like some AMAZING extraction music from a video game.
Reminds me of Minecraft music by 1:15 part.
of all the amazing kurzgysagt soundtracks out there, this one takes first place
This is my favorite song now.

I'm sorry but the language is portuguese not spanish
You can tell when he says: "The deadliest part of a nuclear explosion: the shockwave.". Thanks for making such epic music.
This soundtrack is so so good.

nuke a city?
@@dell899 yee
Nuke a city obviously
you can hear the bell from all the bombs too
The callback to Nuke A City had me covered in goosebumps. You never fail to amaze me.
There's just something about the organ that adds such wonderful depth to any song.
It's the sense of spirituality that it imparts. That's why you find them in a lot of ye olde churches. Hans Zimmerman also pointed out this quality of the organ when he was writing the Interstellar soundtrack.
Sometimes, i wonder what keeps me alive. It's this music. Keep it going!
Are you even able to do bad track?
No! No! Just joking! Don't!
Keep up great work so my playlist will have more and more great music.
I'd vote this as the best soundtrack of the year
Wow! Nice! Thank you
Epic Mountain constantly breaks their record, so it may be too soon to claim so
This is definitely the best you guys have put out yet. Truly amazing how i get these Tron vibes but also that seriousness( at 4:07). Truly magnificent. Thank you guys!

Have you guys ever considered doing a concert? This needs to be heard in a stadium.
This track is the single best music for a Kurzgesagt video you have ever done IMO. It's such a bop!
One the BEST soundtracks in Kurzgesagt!! The organ sounds are the best part for me 🙌
This is my favorite soundtrack
Come back after 'Moon Crash'. I love how you used old piece in the newer one as reference!
Weapons of mass destruction have never sounded so good!
Weapons of Mass Destruction that barely put a dent on the Moons surface. Did you even watch the video?
@@swargpatel7634 nuclear weapons are still destructive, don’t use that tone with me

well, all i can say is that i had a blast listening to this
Modded minecraft server I've been playing on for over a month now is dying tonight due to inactivity from alot of ppl. Listening to this as i record footage for a little montage of what i and others have made.
I like it so much
We are lucky! We are #epicfollowers
Perfect combination ❤️
The bit at the beginning reminds me a LOT of the music in Tron Legacy, and the rest was soooooo reminiscent of Interstellar.
Phenomenal work! And yet another absolute banger, which i’m not quite used to since EMM have usually done chill stuff for Kurzgesagt, lol
this is an absolute banger.. i remember you for this. And Kurzgesagt.
always listen to the soundtrack before the main video
the quality only gets better
Fantastic. For whatever reason, it sounds more ominous than 'Nuke a City'. 1:57 hits so good. Thank you, EMM.
Literally epic music
I enjoy the variety in sounds and themes. This is one of my favourite tracks from you.
hey epic is it if i use this as background music for my videos?
I don't think you can unless you have the express permission of Kurzgesagt, since this is for their use only sadly.
Edit: I checked the description. The copyright at the bottom says you can't
you'll have to ask epic I guess as it says unauthorised arent allowed, so there might be a chance of you getting the licence if you ask.
Wow this was released on my birthday. Best b-day gift ever!
I knew I remembered liking the soundtrack to these videos, but I didn’t remember this masterpiece
This channel is VERY underated seriously!
Damn dude. This doesn’t sound like it should be in a UA-cam video more like a cyber punk anime series. Amazing work!
The most explosive song of Kurzgesagt & Epic Mountain.
We need a "Nuke the Universe soundtrack".
They already made Shattering Black Hole theme 😂
this be an absolute bop
DANCE TIME INITIATED.
You know, i'd never actually thought about the music in Kurzgesagt videos but now i think back, they just wouldn't be the same without the right music to really set the mood for the wonders they explain and theorise.
This truly is one of my favorites among all the tracks you made. Pure awesomeness, among pure awesomeness.
You do put the "Epic" in "Epic Mountain Music".
that time dilation effect though...just perfect👌👌
i love the OSTs in Kurzgesagt's videos, and didnt know that you made them :o :o
You've made me really happy listening to your pieces of art, thanks you so much
it is the best music i have heard yet in my entire life !
Christ i've listened to this so many times already, the organ sounds so goood~
Besides underlining very very indredibly nice videos very very on point, the soundtracks you're making are just as incredible music. Chapeau!
Wow this is amazing this soundrack is amazing. I must know that secret.
This is an absolute banger
This particular 'Nuke the Moon' video by Kurzgesagt caught my attention; not specifically because of the content of the video. But the soundtrack. This called for instant subscribing and further exploring your Music scores. Absolutely love this one. Thanks for such epic tracks. Now I know what gives Kurzgesagt videos a unique essence. Keep up the awesome work!! :)
This is now one of my fav soundtracks. [Subscribed]
This is one of the most amazing episodes with both animation. soundtrack, script, everything being the best. 1000000000000/10 i love it too much.
This song is just amazing because it just feels like you are floating around in space
i would go on and on about how amazing your music is, but i cannot muster the words out of pure awe at your talent. incredible work.
Best one I heard in years
Straight from the main video brooooo
This song had such a huge impact on the vid, i remembered commenting to myself aloud about it. Beautiful composition.
I love that half way through there's the motif from the Nuke A City episode, good touch
this is a nuking masterpiece
thank you for uploading this
The organ really turns this from good to OOOOOOF. Keep up the good work!
I can feel some Hans Zimmer spirit in this beautiful music =)
This has no business being so damn good.
That's so cool! The mix of Church and Techno works so well. The pipe organ really sells the devastation that ensues.
Truly worthy songs
Its always great to expand my playlist with these beautiful soundtracks, I will always love the vibe to them, and I love songs with organs, whoever thought of adding the organ, best idea out there.
I didn't think I needed this, but I did.
