Game was lost at the selection table. Cincotta had to tag Zorko. TDK had to start.
100% agree one of the 3 under performing small forwards should have been sub not the most versatile player who missed the birth of the child for this club.
Poor recruitment by blues that's the problem. Fantasia and Martin are purely SPUD players 😊.

I believe Blues under achieved as past mid season that were in premiership contention and in great form and they led it slip(despite injuries). The highlight for the game for Blues was the return of Sam Docherty

Moir, Lord, Binns should have stayed in. Durdin, Fanta, Doc Out.
How does Fanta keep getting a game baffles my mind.

@binks7988 - correct. Lord, Cincotta and Moir should have come in. TDK should have started, if good to play part of the game, was good enough to start. Doc skills were down, happens when you don’t play and back from injury, should not have been there.
Watching Voss standing on side line like a bump on a log was so funny....Hes so stupid it didnt occur to him to go to coaches box AND COACH....HES RUBBISH

This guy is not a coaches backside. The Blues were warned about him, apparently just doesn't have the nous for it. Continually outcoached on match day. Stands on the sideline as a cheerleader, doesn't even have a headset on to interact with assistants in the box. Poor game plan, with just bomb it long going forward and play loose in defence guarding space instead of man on man. He has poor assistants as well besides Hansen, the others, Russell, Hamill, Clarke just not good enough. He had a big man as a sub which has been universally panned. Clueless.
I hate to say it, coz Voss seems like a good bloke. But I've watched the blues week after week getting beaten in positions....not necessarily talent. Last night after TDK came on and started dominating i said "wtf" voss. Firmly a coach decisions. He's now making an excuse that it was either dont play him, or play him as he did. I think we saw that Tom was good to go.
No idea. Zero. Zilch.
If you wanted to stop their marking power then why put a forward E Hollands as an extra in defence so that every time the ball came out Andrews and Co marked at will.
That's why I think the Petracca deal and giving up McKay would be good for them. 2 big boys up forwards causes them to just bomb and pray way to often. If it can't be coached out of the team they need to make a personal chance.

Collingwood would have showed alot more effort and heart against Bribane than Carlton did, Blues were always making up the numbers.......
Feels like no matter what other players do, Voss will select Cerra ahead of them.
Dropping Hewitt for Cerra was the start of the rot, the Voss put faith in him again and again lets him down.
Pick the boys on merritt Vossy, not on what your preference is.

genuinely feel for him, he's done an insanely good job with this team so far. If it wasnt for the insane amount of injuries in the second half of the year they would've been top 4 easy. Cant have 6 changes going into a final with a guy coming off an acl after 6 months, when I saw that I knew they were desperate for fit players
@@michaela7100 I feel like most of the players he would have in have been injured, Cerra was a mainstay last year but was out most of the year. TDK was the best ruck in the comp for the last two months he played before being injured ect. Def some changes to make though, they have gotten some good players in though. Acres and Hollands were great trades
Agree - there’s a few injury prone players & serial losers that need to be weeded out.
@@tufankiroglu5404 Werent saying that when he made a prelim last year after his coaching turned a terrible season around.. He clearly is a finals coach, not his fault half his list was injured.Guessing they played doc beacuse they literally had zero players fit to play over him

Game was over before it started... Kennedy as sub then TDK!? Seriously!? Cerra back in, Motlop back in.. no reward for the young fellas who stepped up when the "stars" shat themselves. Time for a clean up... drop ten and play the kids!!
If we start next season playing the same muppets then say hello to a bottomside, not like we werent one for the last half of this season!

the injury list for Carlton was crazy and still managed to hold on against lions, so good job hopefully next year it's the year

@@SoulSearcher-z2m If St Kilda can bring back Ross Lyon back after 10 years from the club, could be a possibility the Brisbane Lions could do the same thing, who knows AFL it can be unpredictable.
First half just wasnt up to scratch. Not he coach's fault, North would have performed better. Heroic losses dont count for much any more. Step one is sorted, my footy season isnt over by ANZAC day any more.

@crazefitt5029 - 1000% correct. TDK should have started if he was right to play any part, he was right to start. Doc shouldn’t have played, showed what not playing in any part does. Cincotta and Lord would have provided spark, Moir could have been the same. Durdin and Motlop did nothing. Badly missed Fog.
