Love how you describe things, like how tonka smoothes the angular nature of the vetiver. So creative, it gives me a mental experience of the fragrance. About to get a small bottle of this!
I loved how you went through the backstory and the way you visualized the scent. Definitely piqued my interest! I would also love to see your review of some of Chanel's Les exclusif line like Bois des iles, Boy, Beige, Coromandel, etc etc
Clémence... You are lovely, very funny, and I think truthful and passionate in your reviews. Having said that I wonder why everyone on UA-cam has suddenly decided to review eight and Bob...
That into reminds me of all my various personalities talking to each other 😂 I've not tried this or anything from the house. So it's great to learn more about something new ☺ Vetiver extrodinare by malle is still my favourite Vetiver scent
Just love your videos Clemence. They're informative but also uplifting and fun. I live in New Zealand and we're in lockdown along with most of the rest of the world. Watching so much UA-cam....especially fragrance videos....my favourite obsession.
I think I can tell that you are really into this fragrance from the video, as well as it seems you're finding your groove in your videos. You seem a lot more comfortable in this one. Keep doing what you're doing. I think it's working. You definitely have a unique touch to your videos
Oh thanks Bradley ! Indeed I'm really focusing on what I like More than people are expecting for me and I think it does relax me a lot ! Haha Really appreciate your feedback
Coffee, snickers and new video from you!!🥳 aaaand I ordered Megeve sample yesterday! ( also Floris 89, Halfeti, Floris night scented jasmin and pacific rock moss) Really looking forward to trying it after your great introduction🤍🍃👏
Hi from Singapore! Love your bubbly personality. You keep it real Clemence! Great work. Love Nuit de Megeve. Just a little sad it's not a beast on me. Other favourite Vetiver fragrances that I love: Vetiver Extraordinaire, Dior Vetiver, Vetiver Tonka, Vetiver Fatal, Vetiver Insolent & Encre Noire. Why not do an updated Best (or Beast) Vetiver list?? 🤔😊 Look forward to your next vdo!! Zack..
Your videos are very entertaining and I love hearing the inspiration of fragrances - it's a romantic notion to know how and why art is created. You need to have more subscribers - I know they will come, you are delightful. Thank you for the review! Take care, Ginny 😘😘😘
Lovely video I'm loving all the editing 😍 I can so see a Netflix series, at home with Clemence 😜 I like this fragrance alot and kinda special as a very early niche for me. I love Liqueur Charnelle from these too, some say a little spicebomb like, I think it's a distant second cousins friends brother, it's got a touch of it but much more refined 🙂
Lately i've unsubscribed from most of fragrance reviewers. Same material same hyped fragrances over and over again. Your channel is one of the very few i enjoy. Bravo Clemence. Also i do believe that the most elegant fragrances include the note of Vetiver. Thats my personal opinion of course:)
Thank you so much I really appreciate that you keep me in your subscriptions ! Haaaa welcome to the team then, I really think vetiver is also the most classy ingredients ! Thank you ✨🙏🙏
As always it is a delight to watch your reviews. I know that this is not a call in radio show, but could you review Beau de Jour from Tom Ford? Or just a few words in here :) . Thanks and keep doing what you´re doing.
Bonjour Clémence. J'espère que vous profitez du soleil dans votre petit jardin. I love this fragrance. I got a bottle after Ash at Gents Scents mentioned it in a video. It's a very elegant fragrance. They gave me samples of Egypt and Cap d'Antibes when I bought it, which are both nice, but I prefer the Nuit de Megève. I also like the stories and history of fragrances, and was interested to read about how the company got its name... The story began with Albert Fouquet, a young Parisian aristocrat, in the early 20th Century. Albert was a perfume connoisseur who loved to blend his own essences, on the top floor of the family chateau. The formula for the original bestselling Cologne was born out of a trip to Chile that Albert made, on a plant-hunting mission, including essences distilled from rare wild plants discovered at high altitude. His social circle loved the fragrance he’d created, around these amazing botanicals, but Albert didn’t want to market it.Then one night on the French Riviera, during his summer vacation, Albert met and got on incredibly well with a young American student, touring France in his convertible car. His name was John F. Kennedy.JFK was, we’re told, ‘captivated’ by the scent his new friend was wearing, and persuaded him to leave a sample of the Cologne at his hotel. The note apparently teased: ‘In this bottle, you will find the dash of French glamour that your American personality lacks.’ When he returned to Paris after the holiday, Albert got a letter from John, thanking him for the gift - and requesting eight samples, for his friends. ‘And,’ he added, ‘if your production allows, another one for Bob.’ (The family’s name for Robert F. Kennedy, the future President’s brother) Albert searched for some beautiful glass bottles and eventually found some in a Parisian pharmacy which he felt were worthy of his Cologne. Last but not least, he ordered boxes for the Colognes, decorated with the same pattern as the shirt JFK was wearing, when they met. And so EIGHT & BOB was born. Hope you have a lovely day. Looking forward to seeing you again soon X
Hello Steve, thanks for your very interesting comment, As you know I love stories so it was really nice to read the story of Albert and Kennedy, it gives so much depth to their fragrances ! Nicely tell as well! Hope you're safe and well xx
I get a mix of Guerlain's Vetiver with Original Eight & Bob. Regarding your bottle, the "sticker" is definitely not straight or centered, definitely unique, comme toi ;)

I hate a crooked label. But, Penhaligon’s labels are often a bit off as well and the juice is very good.

Interesting inspiration for a vetiver fragrance, given that vetiver is grown in India. I would have thought pine for Megeve. Sounds good though.
True true ! Thanks for sharing !
