where are u from
Ah finally apple jail broke there own software lol.
They literally looked what people jailbreak their phones for and gave them as feature
this is common sense, been that way since ios 12. taking cydia features and enticing people not to jailbreak. (cc settings = control center, roundification = round notis, back tap etc..)
Siri not being entirely useless will be nice.
Only for 15P n new models.
@@hhhmmmmmmmmlater on its eventualy gonna come to the base 15s its beta
Apple users: We don't need customization that's immature
*Apple adds customization in ios 18*
Also apple users: Wow we can now customize 🏃♀️🤸♂️🕺
I use my phone as a tool not a toy. The way Apple devices interconnect is just pure ease and time saving. Idc how much it costs because I treat Apple products like a car which I only upgrade every 5 years or so.
No one is watching and commenting on iphone products more than android fanboys😂 And android pretty much copied the whole ios, animations airdrop, and no apple user is going around watching android content commenting. Its like they are all coping..
Atleast they have it now and catching up with android
Regardless of the platform, I don’t care about customization.
I would still prefer it the way iOS 17 was
I’ve been watching this Channel for years and I had absolutely no idea that my guy was bald😮
Android feeling like Soulja boy dammm apple stole our whole flow 😂😂😂😂
They are studying each other, iphone take what the most useful and frequent use, bring to iphone and enhance the visual
Android hardcore fanboys seem to forget iPhone’s always run on a better, highly optimised and efficient chip providing better control over resources and battery usage, with iPhone optimised apps to go along with that.
This OS is very close to what Jailbreakers wanted. Good move. Although late to the party, they have Features that are consistent and intuitive. Can't believe we are getting T9 now. 😂
what is T9?
@@kunalsakulkar926 T9 stands for Text on 9 keys, is a predictive text technology designed for mobile phones. The technology uses a dictionary to predict and suggest words based on the sequence of keypresses, and it can learn from the user’s typing habits to offer more accurate predictions over time.
For example, you can look for someone named Hello as 43556. Because H is in number 4, E is in 3, L is in 5 and 0 is in 6. It also returns any other matches like Gello. Hope this helps.
@@kunalsakulkar926only OGs know T9. Pre QWERT days….
@@kunalsakulkar926 T9 is a software algorithm specially designed to use on numerical key pad.
You can search someone faster instead of normal multi tapping on a numerical keypad.
For example can search for a contact called Hello by typing 43556. Because number 4 contains H, 3 contains E, 5 contains L and 6 contains O.
It also gives out any other matches such as Gello or a contact number containing 43556
@@kunalsakulkar926in call app you can see characters under each digit in each button. Every phone has that for decades, but charcaters were not working on iPhone. The way T9 works is like instead of searching for someone by using qwerty keyboard, you can just type on the digits from keypad, for example if I want to call Alex, I can just type 2539 and it should show me my friend alex and be able to call him. On android we had that for many years and we finally getting this T9 feature on iPhone aswell. 😊
T9 on keypad was the most waiting update for ages
It was really helpful. Thanks for getting us prepared before the update. You’re a Legend!
On android you can also lock apps with face id or touch id.
Go to settings > privacy > app lock
Since android 9
@@khayalethumthembu1971No dude, google literally just announced private space no way
I don't see it on One UI
the “face id” in most androids are really really bad compared to apple i tried using it when i had the nothing phone and when i had my samsung and it was so unreliable and just an unpleasant experience i thought itd be the same when i finally got an iphone and the difference is insane
android doesnt have face id or touch id
Really excited for when this goes public. Lots of little quality of life improvements in there, aside from the customization stuff.
Can the call log hold more than the last 100 calls now?
Really great video
To the point, thanks!
Great video thanks
Never covered RCS but overall great video!
I believe RCS isn’t available on the betas now, which is why he didn’t cover it.
3:29 after I saw this features Ill definitely gonna jump 😂
Dropping a video this hour is epic 🤯
Considering we all love the ability of android to customize everything, while also loving the stability and reliability of the IOS this is looking like a great upgrade. Looking forward to test it from a both systems user. Love to switch it back and forth between Iphones and Galaxy every now and then.
5:40 Dammmmmm Mann. I didn’t know u were bald af.. wasn’t expecting that 😂😂
Its amazing to see these features on apple which android added like 6 years ago.
The revamped phone app is clean, that includes t9 dialing
I am astonished that some of these 'new' features haven't previously been available on iOS. I now know why I have only ever owned Android phones with no desire whatsoever to switch.
iPhone's focus was never GUI customization. It was always focused on pure technology and how it can serve the customers. First 2000 nits Dolby Vision OLED display on a smartphone. First Dolby Vision video camera ever made. Satellite connectivity, portrait mode for still photography, Apple Pay, highest security measures for a modern smartphone, fastest CPU on a smartphone, fastest GPU power on a smartphone, and most reliable operating system on a smartphone. Androids are knock offs of iPhone but they have more Home Screen customization as a means of compensation for lack of smarts in other areas lmao. So the reason why you never had a desire to switch to a more advanced smartphone is simply because you never wanted one. Typical android user.
@@Mistygio Stop the nonsense isheep,''portrait mode'' was available with HTC ONE M8 (2014)
Go back to your blue bubble 🤡
@@animamundi4842 it had 3D pic mode but I can’t find anywhere that shows it had portrait mode

Take a sip of your drink every time he says cool
Where can I download the wallpaper the one you got on ur home and lock screen
Wow it took until 2024 to have scheduled texts on my iPhone. Unreal.
It definitely looks like a decent update. Not overly interested in the customization features. I would love to change the color of my keyboard but I know that ain’t happening 🙄 still though,it’s a decent enough update. Let’s hope it doesn’t wreck our phones.
ios 18 looks like a very exciting update!
Can you tell me what watch band do you have in this video
Does the iOS keyboard have a clipboard like OneUI?
17 years! what were they waiting for?
8:08 i remember back in the day using the customized voice command on the Moto X
That hiking app might swaay me from android to iphone
As someone who hikes with alltrails all over the world on a regular basis, I highly doubt that maps could replace the app quickly; although it would be a very pleasant surprise if it did
You dont need secure folder on samsung to hide apps just long hold on home screen
Where can I get that samurai wallpaper?
Five years later, people will say: This video was made with ai.
Well...seeing the new updates in ios18, I think the Android devs will release directly Android 16 'cause A15 they were prepping had only insignificant upgrades
Where can I get that wall peper
Hello, I think they should just iOS a Samsung only and be able to have their setting and everything and the same change and lock screen also and be able to have an apple store theme as a Samsung with the iOS 18 this year with the Ui now we have as an apple :D be helpful
im really impressed...kinda weird that apple was just holding back some pretty basic features..
Hope the ai assistant is better. First thing I did on my iPhone was install google instead
For me it's ja very good update yes but many features from my Samsung i still miss
- Keyboard size and numbers
- Back gesture
- Splitscreen
- 200mp camera with 100x zoom
- Faster interaction
- SPen
- Dex Mode
- Change voice assistent
- TV screen on phone screen
- Ringtones
- Call screen customisation
- Smaller notch
- Side menu
Exacty, ios users will never know about this. They will be in shock if they ever get these updates in next 10 years or so like always 😂😂
Always been with android which has been 15yrs now. I'll be switching when the iPhone 16 Pro Max is released. I'm coming from the Samsung Galaxy Fold 5.wish me luck!
For some reason till iOS 18, you couldn't remove app labels on Iphone, which has been a basic thing on most androids.
I might try iOS when they fuckin change or give option for new keyboards.
I was going to shift from Android to iOS but now i see no advantage to do so😂
There are still so many differences between them, ios will never be android
Should’ve said that last year
Wouldn't it make more sense to shift from android to iOS now? At least in my case and a few others I know, the reason we would never shift from android to iOS is because android has so far ahead and has many features that's completely missing from iOS but Apple devices are so much better when in an ecosystem so now the gap for not shifting has reduced and its more compelling to shift.
@@officialhideyo Apple is not necessarily behind, both phones just excel in different areas. It really depends on your preference.
@@phase0400imagine being able to customize your phone after 15 years💀 if that’s not an example of being behind,I don’t know what else to say.Iphone still has no clipboard, trash file system etc…ios is behind in so many ways honestly. The advantage of ios is apps optimization and support in general by developers
Was waiting so long for those features. I wished it had split screen mode numeric keys in the keyboard.
I noticed that 3rd party keyboard don’t type very well. Apple made them cripple.
What I like the most is the adaptive icons works perfect, in Android doesn't work that way
1:58 so you haven't used a lot of android phones. Most companies provide the option of lock the apps with any security mode of your choice. I believe Samsung does it too bu default, maybe you just haven't come across it.
As a dual wielder since forever, im so disappointed to that update 😅
I was gonna switch to Android but iOS update might keep me a lil longer. Still want true live wallpapers tho
What is t9 dialing? Tapping out letters in the phone dialer using digits to search your contacts?
If so, that sounds awful.
Yeah, that’s it. Not very useful imo
It's a feature only available on Samsung phones. (It's) absolutely amazing!
@@resulsaglam7030 of course you cannot. At least on my Note 10+ I couldn’t without third party app.
It´s good Apple doing some "new" stuff, but in the end after not long on beta it´s same old stuff. Can´t say to much till it´s out tho.
Damn, we can remove the flashlight from lockscreen and T9 finally.
If they add a proper file manager system (like on Android) I'll switch non-stop
cant wait for sideloading
I will move to iphone this year... lets see how it goes.. currently I am at S22 Ultra
Gimmick 😂
Any idea when its released?
I’m android user currently using an iPhone 15 Pro max for
I can’t wait for my contract to be over or sell this so I can go back to android
I do like both operating systems
But iOS is like like a very simple smartphone phone os
And android is like top spec desktop super computer
Love from England 🏴
Tim apple 😂
"iPhone will never be the same". Yeah cause now it's an android
Android user considering switching it's been 3 years since I've used and iphone
It's much better on this side of things. Remember iPhone is the phone that brought us the first ever 2000 nits OLED display, portrait mode photography, first ever 3D facial recognition system, first modern smartphone with satellite connectivity, world's first Dolby video camera, fastest GPU power on a smartphone, world's first 3nm chip, most advanced security measures on a smartphone, and much more. Android's only advantage was Home Screen customization but iPhone's home screen can already be customized as of iOS 17 (current OS).
What will do it with me. If Apple continue with these awesome features Combined with an Apple fold phone. And I will be sold.
Yesterdays technology and tomorrows prices.
T9 finally. I was wandering why it took Apple 17 years to implement this feature
Apple now running Android 15 😂
Do speed test between iOS 17 Vs iOS 18
Too early for that. It's still beta versions so it might have bugs which will hopefully be removed once apple releases the full version in September.
@@edk1124 I know, but he normally does it before, he did it with iOS 12 beta 1
Bro got Voldemort nose
They do everything but won't change the keyboard. It's the worst😂
because third party apps can change the keyboard theme
Can’t wait for this!
1:31
Resizable qs tiles are really cool
Android should add them too
You can resize them if u use a launcher or Goodluck
@@humbertoarredondo96
Which launcher?
Goodluck is only one ui
Still no back menu like in Android
I have app lock that i can unlock with my fingerprint since 2018 with my Huawei p20lite (a 200$ phone) 😂
Jailbreak has been giving android and ios ideas since forever. Now that jailbreak is almost non existent its good to see apple giving more and more features from jailbreak era. Personally even though I was able to customize the sh*t out of iphones I always found myself returning to stock looks. Same with android too, with all that launchers and themes there was always a trade-off that made me return to stock. I would love to see the percentage of users that actually customize their phones.
App lock is what we wanted like android, finally apple letting us lock our apps😂 What a tortoise 🐢
As an android user im happy ios got all that
its about timing that they making us not jailbreak
Apple pls dont stop stealing features from android so I can finally get rid of my android. I dont like bringing 2 phones everytime 😂
As an EU resident I can't wait to get these features in like 6 years or smthn.
it feels like the smallest update ever. ugly monotone icons aren’t a feature.
iOS 18 feels like it almost has it all, I mean... In some android skins yes, It has more costumisation but, do you really need that? I honestly think I'll switch to Iphone.
They should definitely copy android notifications yet
Notifications on ios are a mess
I am an android user and never going to switch to iPhone or Apple ecosystem. Thanks for asking.
No one asked. Stay in your bubble
Me too
@@tdrg_ He asked. Watch the whole video.
We are now in a world where, companies sell products that are not ready to consumers at full price with a promise to activate features and other functionalities that came advertised with the product at a later date. Am I the only one noticing this?! Even better apple went to the extent of deactivating features advertised with the Apple Watch and offered no compensation whatsoever to the consumers,
like “hey here’s hears a double quarter pounder you paid for, hold on… on second thought lemme have one of those beef patties, you’re welcome 😇”
is tome to changue android
It's like apple has given us everything almost
When 16 Pro and iOS 18 comes out it seems pretty pointless to choose Android. Apple will have the best OS, best hardware, best AI, best app quality etc.etc. (just the apps in general working better on iOS makes it a no-brainer imo because apps are the core reason to have a smartphone!)
Ur right, iOS has no brains.
I have a 12 mini and pixel 6a..... I will chhose android any day... Ios is too restrictive for me
and people are blaiming Google to steal Apple's design for Pixel 9. There now seems to be a strong competition against iPhone in the market.
Apple locked AI to 15 pro and later. The models before it can’t connect to the Apple cloud where the AI is at.
Only 15 Pro chipset NPU has capacity to run all of these models on-device
@@tdrg_ Yeah coz that is how they intentionally designed their AI. To make users upgrade their iphones. This is Apple we are talking about. Anything just to maximize profits, they will take advantage. This reminds me of the polishing cloth worth $20.
@@Gurenn83 if apple lets older devices run AI and end up slowing them down, then people will say apple deliberately slow them down,
id like to have full ios18 in EU -> Poland. For years (about 18) no Siri in polish in 40 mln country. No good maps updates, no fitness+, no news, and now, no mirroring, no AI, and we paying more $$ for iPhones for nothing.
Except it will be
I'm looking forward to iOS 18 on iPhones, but not iPad.
AppleGPT😅
I’ve tried out iOS 18 beta 1 and I’m really surprised how it runs. Very stable, probably the best since iOS 15.
It'll be interesting to see how Apple consumers react to the feature fraud across devices, for years android has been criticized for similar tendencies. For experienced software users, this hasn't moved the needle, one neat feature that'll be matched in weeks, and for the average consumer Apple devices are trending too expensive. For the loyal Apple customer with expectation, it has to seem like they're still moving too slow, ios 18 was a needed step but if the 16 doesn't bring the software essentials missing, the narrative will be how much longer would we have to wait for decades old functionality. Ios 18 may have paused the disappointment with software, but for how long, there's tons missing that apple just don't have the ability to produce and to me their product is starting to look like an android clone no matter how they try to dress it up. With the most powerful chips, you're devices even same year can't perform a function the competitors 4 year old devices can. Eye opening. I said this would happen watch it closely. Their exposing themselves, let's see if the people continue to support their behavior or demand change.
Android will never replace iPhone
3:22 No no this is why they will not jump to iPhone
I know many android people who is going for iphone this year, theese features is for android people i guess, iphone users dont care for costimization like that. Atleast 95% dont
