CALF VISINSE 3D VR180 Camera Fails: Issues with 3D Video Display on YouTube | Side-by-Side Glitch

- In this video, I showcase the issues I’ve encountered with the CALF VISINSE 3D VR180 camera. Despite being marketed as an 8K 3D VR180 camera, the footage uploaded to UA-cam only displays as two square videos side-by-side, with no 3D effect at all. I discuss the various problems I’ve had, including the camera’s struggles with low-light performance, high contrast, and how UA-cam isn’t recognising the footage as 3D VR180.

Sorry to bother you. I noticed this video is in sbs format instead of vr180 like your others. I have a vr180 video but it is uploading as sbs like this video. how do I make it vr180! Pls
As you can see, I was suffering from the same problem as you were, I spent days trying to find out how to turn these side-by-side videos into real 3-D videos. Calf sent me this email.
Our camera-generated videos do not include any metadata because most platforms do not require it. Our videos can be viewed on any device or uploaded to any platform, except for UA-cam.
We recommend that you refer to this method for conversion: github.com/google/spatial-media/releases/tag/v2.0

Thanks for letting me know that I am not going crazy. I have requested a refund, but nothing back yet. This almost feels like a scam. Not sure where to go with this. I will never ever pick up this camera again? You have any idea what you are going to do?
@rcflyinglife2024 no, you are not going crazy, but I am shocked how little if no online help there is for this camera and it's current usability state. Here's hoping the soon to come updates so these issues.
Befor bying you should read about it. This is not a camera for mr. Everybody because it is still in development. For the moment it is not 8k but 7.2. You need to understand that this market is empty. This is what we have for the moment. Be patient
I actually read about and watched videos about this camera before it was launched. Also, I read their own website before I purchased. Below is text copied directly from the Calf website. So my expectations from the camera are equal to how the camera was sold to me.

(Yes its mobile, but the footage is very poor, unlike my mobile phone)

@Glennysworld They have easy connection to apple pro, or in the future. For the moment all promesses are only for the future. Now, you can connect your camera to a pc, take files and maybe use skybox. They have a very good wireless fileserver. It is easy if you have skybox
I doubt if this is even 720 p. Let alone 7.2. That is not something that can be fixed with an update. My only question is how do I get a refund.
@@alexlevkin630 this is the same problem. All of the features of this camera currently don't exist inside the camera, I am a photographer and videographer and purchase the camera to make 3-D content for my clients. So that they can share it on social media platforms as promised, but if the only place that you can view this content is inside a single app that means for the moment the camera is useless for my use case. I do however, feel optimistic about soon to come firmware updates to solve these issues.
@Glennysworld I see. In your case, it is useless for the moment. I aslo hope this camera will be good and used by many ppl.
