Together Again- Janet Jackson (Ballad Remake)

This song is to honor my mom, Lisa. She loved this song and taught it to me at 6 years old. Dancing and singing to it with her is one of the best memories I carry with me; a memory I often chose to remember her by.
This project, recreating this song and creating visuals behind it, has been a way for me to grieve through art. Many of us know that losing someone can be devastating and my fans, friends, and family know that my mom's passing is what ultimately lead to my first hospitalization for trauma intensive care. Creating this, among other projects, has been a journey of me finding healthy ways to process the past, grieve in the present, and restructuring my ideas of the future. I hope sharing this will help someone in their own grieving journey.
