thats why kinda i wish laptop manufacturers used a daughter board (or boards for both sides) for USB and other I/O ports. you could have a port that only transmits data to the motherboard, with a built in fuse, to prevent (or reduce the chances of) overcurrent damage, and have the power directly supplied by the charging board. it would also mean that laptop manufacturers can build a handful of motherboards for their entire line up, and have multiple different models with different I/O ports, and having identically specked laptops, that are only really diffrent in size, have the same motherboard, which would mean instead of haveing 4-5 motherboards for a line of otherwise identical laptops, having one motherboard, and one set of daughterboards, and only needing different length headers. potentially also using the motherboards for all-in-ones as well. and as I/O is likely to change much slower than other components, they can keep the daughterboards in production for longer than the initial motherboard it was originally designed for. granted, the reason they likely wouldn't do that is because it would make laptops much easier to repair, and potentially need to take up more space. although it would allow for more flexability when designing a laptop.

it basically has a high voltage module. it charges a big ass capacitor then dumps that thousand volts into the usb port overloading the usb controller killing it. that iphone 15 must've something that prevents the board from frying.

Yeah Fr tho
I mean yeah the Samsung phone died but the port accesses for usb C to usb A is so slow for iPhone. It prolly had like 5 watts of power than the Samsung adapter had like 25-30 watts
Back then samsung used to have good protection against those usb killers. They stopped caring after the release of note 20 ultra
well, yea. considering the whole point of apple is to be secure. it would be really embarrassing if they couldn't even prevent a usb killer
@@ElitxSo Samsung isn’t secure against it then?
Gonna be crazy once they make one for the neurallink
Imagine you bring those devices to the
"I gotchu" guy and he says
"Your device is not ready sir"

Make a short or a video on how the device works!
it basically has a high voltage module. it charges a big ass capacitor then dumps that thousand volts into the usb port overloading the usb controller killing it. that iphone 15 must've something that prevents the board from frying.
@@danz9268def not „thousands” of volts
He did
“Ok im here for my phone” “wait u did what?!”
You should’ve gave that MacBook to me
Well buddy that's true instead of just killing it

Here I'm using an 4y old device and you you killed these phones for no reason 😢
I'm hurt
Both phones have a surge protection. The S24 only shutdown...
@@edelzocker8169 yea the s24 turns on again
@@MahanYT_Officialnope it doesn't 😂😂😂😂
@@edelzocker8169nope 😂😂😂
@Ak-we2un it does, I have prove he did not connect the s24 to charger that's why it didn't work
It also murdered the plug, you have to do it with a new plug to get good results. I know this because I own one and I have a usb killer and used the adapters for my old phones.
iPhone said: Nah I am him 🗿
Android was like: "sucks to be you, I'm into that" for two seconds before dying 💀
What does a USB killer do to internal circuits 😅
More current equals more destroyed
@@the_undead ya but were the board gets damaged inside 😅
@@jsggamersjaguarslidegaming8733 I suspect the circuit board that handles charging was completely fried. Beyond that I could not tell you
It has capacitors, it charges them and shoots all that power back killing the devices.
Overvoltage fries the componens but most devices are immune because they have a surge protection. This device was made to test surge protection in production.
BTW all desktop PCs are immune...
My pc just crashed watching this....
Guys stop saying he only used single mode for iphone if you actually watched the video it was put on continuous mode later on
Can the usb killer kill a usb killer?
I am wondering the same thing
That should be the next video
No
@@edelzocker8169 you dont know that
It needs to get a small amount of charge from the phone or something to start the attack so i don't think it'll work , not sure@@AegisEdge
The iPhone he tested on was in better condition than his personal one 💀
Shut up kid
Iphone 15: my back might break but no USB killer going to kill me
now… can you try to fix the S24
Wow I didn’t expecting that the iPhone 15 will survive from the usb killer 😦
Bro is murdering these high end devices when i don't even own one.
For anyone wondering why it doesn't work on an iPhone, it's because iPhones can't transfer file through USB.
Bro used a broken iPhone to break the phones in good condition
bro could've gave me the iphone if he didnt want it
I'm not an Apple fan but I've had a feeling the iPhone wouldn't die because... well because idk
Because apple cares a lot about smaller details

@@TrenAvreageEnjoyerthats why you are poor its your thinking , apple never asks for the phone , apple is a brand to experience 💀 and being a brand it has a certain pretty high standard to look up to , the reason apple provide less features is cause the files required to provide them are so vulnerable to attacks . Else a tech giant would only bow down to its consumers .
And Samsung, your Galaxy S24 Ultra got murdered by the USB KILLER.
That S24 is the epitome of drip
Bro used a connector and expected it to work 💀
didn't he do that on the s24 ultra as well? and it stopped working?
Bruh, you trying to convince yourself the Iphone didnt win? The s24 ultra also had a adaptor 😐
Im not surprised that the iPhone 15 pro max still works it has overload protection on it
W iPhone 15 Pro Max
That iPhone 15 survived the USB KILLER. Good one Apple
Tim Cook the cooker cooked on this one though. But he still cooked the price too
lets go Iphone
Realistically this is a meaningless victory, although I would be very interested in learning how the iPhone did not die to this monstrosity
@@the_undeadiPhones have protection for these. The killer tries to fry the data lines, but high chance that data can’t be transmitted through usb. I thought s24 ultra would survive, but maybe it isn’t that resilient to usb killers.
@@anonymously118 I suspect the reason the s24 did not resist. This stupid thing is because the chances that this is the first time this attack has been done to a phone outside of a testing lab is actually quite high, these devices rarely get used against computers because there are much more effective ways to attack than this
