Fantastic adventure. Thanks to you & Ted for sharing it with us. I'm older now, but I will say to all of those that are young & capable, go out and explore! The best part of the final video for me was your explanation of Type 1 Fun vs. Type 2 Fun. How true, that the accomplishment of Type 2 is so rewarding to your life and will leave you with lasting memories.

Man I hate to see this trip over already. This was probably my favorite trip you’ve done. If you combine all the episodes into one movie. Even if it’s 30 hours long. I’ll watch it 😂. Can’t wait for the next trip.

You guys have been my favorite entertainment this time of year. Northern Manitoba has been fascinating. The storms and insects that you've had to deal with was very interesting. And now the coastline and polar bears and belugas, WOW loved it and enjoyed it immensely. Thanks so much.

And also your words to sum up your philosophy being out in nature. I totally agree. That is also why I like to be out in nature for longer trips. Even though I am doing only a fraction of your jurneys. 😀 Thanks a million Jim and Ted! You are the best.

Jim and Ted, thank you for bringing us along on a most remarkable adventure. Each week, I've waited anxiously for the next episode to drop. The raw beauty of northern Canada simply blew me away as did the sizes of the lakes and rivers you paddled. How fortunate you were to be able to experience it so closely and lived to tell about it. Given the conditions you faced, the photography was amazing. Congratulations on this achievement. I don't know how you'll top this one but I look forward to being along side when you do.

I am blown away on how this adventure has taken place, by far my favorite UA-cam adventure presenters right here, I just saw the 11+ hour videos of this series and I guarantee I will watch it again as it is action pact and one of the highest quality films that youtube has to offer... sorry Jimmy, teddy does build a more quality fire than yourself... just saying, but I love both of you. Without Ted, this trip would not be pure gold my friend! I have watched most of your videos, good job on getting Tory in the paddle spot, I appreciate you and your efforts with your family. Not easy to raise a child with a condition, but you and your wife manage the best you can. Much love from a fellow Canadian, stuck in the Philippines due to covid and passport issues. Love you all and thank you for your service friend!

The message about Type 1 & 2 fun was prob the best description of the need and fulfillment from going through tough shit in the name of recreation. It has inspired me to go on some type of hike, paddle or camping trip that tests my limits. I used to do that all the time in my 20’s and the last 20 years I’ve gotten away from it. I need to push myself and I thank you for opening my eyes to that reality.

Your monologue about Type 2 fun was perfect. It really captured what this sort of thing is all about. Thanks for taking us along. I’ve added the Seal River to my bucket list.

That inspiring recap was inspiring, indeed! The description of Type 2 fun was great, and it really hit home about why we NEED Type 2 fun in our lives, about how we need to challenge ourselves. Beautiful words. Sad that the series is over, but I have enjoyed every moment of it. Thanks for what you do, Jim and Ted.
And I'll be waiting for your reggae dance hall hit "Catty-maran" to drop any day now.

Haha, thanks a lot. Glad you liked that song in the Labrador doc and I’m glad you liked the talk I did at the end of this. It was the biggest monologue I’ve ever left in one of my films so I’m glad to hear it was well received. I really appreciate your support as usual. Have a great day.

LOVED this! Well this adventure start to fantastic finale was "beyond" an adventure....what shall we call THAT? WONDERFUL WORK JIM AND TED! You are two incredible brothers in the best of ways! Thirty years or so ago...was considering assisting with restoration of the Inuit huskies by adopting one or two or three... lol.... and amazingly was at a local festival where a dog came up to me, pushing hard at my knees and the lady holding him, said that he didn't typically do that... I was thrilled but even more to find out this WAS the dog I was considering from way up there north at Churchill...one of the last taken from the ice floes that was rather in jeopardy. At any rate, Churchill is such an amazing place in the world. Love the quiet beautiful places in our world even now that time has passed by me, way too quickly...THANK YOU so much for sharing your journey!

Tried to hop the train from dam on the Nelson to Churchill in 1981 but train was 8 hours late. So we continued south back to Thompson. You show Churchill as a nice play to visit. Thanks for you unique perspective.

Thank you, thank you both so much! kept my comments right to the end. I just hung out for every new episode; this was truly epic CONGRATULATIONS - really.
Loved Jim's bit of philosophy about where we are and what we can do on our small but changing planet. There was so much in this series Ted's humour, kms of rapids, wildlife and of course breakfast!!! So looking forward to what you both have coming up in your spring and summer while I shiver DownUnder. Best wishes to you and your families. Pete from Australia

My wife want to thank you and Ted for giving us this adventure to watch this winter. It's been great. What an epic adventure! We had a good tripping year ourselves last year which left us full of that special feeling you get coming out of the wilderness. You've managed to keep that feeling going for us through the winter, just in time for our first trips of 2022! I hope you and Tori and Wesley and the new one have a great summer full of adventures and, selfishly, I hope we get to see a little bit of what you guys and Ted decide to get up to!

Exciting series. I have a special interest as my grandfather in about 1898 to about 1903 worked for the Hudson Bay Company in Churchill. Totally enjoyed watching the trip on the seal river.

Fabulous series!! I have eagerly anticipated every episode. You took us right from the beginning, through all of it and it was so satisfying to be able to watch every step of the journey. It must have been so much extra work to film and then edit it, but ... WOW!! What a gift to all of your viewers. So many great parts of the journey, but I find myself still in awe of the navigating across the Height of Land.

Great Narrative and wrap up! This series and actual adventure just leveled up every episode right until this awesome climax of watching polar bears hunting in incredible Hudson Bay. Truly something very few will ever witness. So glad you both accomplished this journey safely. I absolutely appreciate all the hard work you put into it, and appreciate you sharing with us all! Cheers Big Guy!
