These two paintings are so fun and pretty! Thank you! I need to stop watching all of your videos and start painting them! 😅 I’m really enjoying ALL of your tutorials! You are a wonderful teacher! Many many thanks! 🎨
These cards are fabulous. I love the simple technique but I can see how smudging that color out into the white space can take some practice, on my part. Can't wait to try this. Thank you for this video.
I love painting cards because of the size I think. Not as intimidating as tackling a big project. These are beautiful, fun technique and awesome effect. I'm partial to the colors in the second painting. That will be my next card. Thank you, Ellen.
I look forward to your videos every day and save them for a day off to paint! This one is beautiful, simple but very striking! Love the fall colors. Ty for sharing.
The results are beautiful 😍 but as a beginner I am watching this with curled toes, don't know if that is an expression in your country 😂 I am learning so much from you, thank you very much 🙏
100% cotton paper is kind on you when it comes to ripping, but I usually use a bone creaser to make the creases nice and crisp on both sides before ripping, and then the cotton paper will dutifully tear along the crease every time. 😊
Ellen your paints in your pallet do you leave it out when you are not using them? I am just learning and have so much to learn. Thanks. Your tutorials are very helpful.
I leave mine out until they're completely dry, it's quite damp where I live and if I put them away damp they can go mouldy. They re-wet easily, if you find yours aren't usable quickly when you wet them again, then spray them with a little water a few minutes before you start.
I think these are some of the prettiest watercolor cards I have seen!

These are really nice. Such a nice mix of loose watercolor and a few crisp edges. That, for me, seems to be the key. Thank You!

Beautiful. How do you deckle an edge? I bought a metal tool from Amazon but it seems too sharp.
Fold it and rip it
