Hi !
Joe Hisaishi is probably my all time favorite composer when it comes to film music! And this particular scene from Spirited Away, well.. it just gets me every time, it's absolutely perfect in every aspect.
Soooo.. I did try to cover it! I must admit, at first, I didn't think it would work well on guitar, as it is quite the ethereal piece of music, but eh.. I think it does kinda work after all! :D

You can just feel the guitars emotions! The way you pause and wait to play the next bar makes it so much more. Subtle but important. Thank you for learning this also sharing how its done!

I was considering it but i havent learned pinch harmonics yet. Perhaps nows a good time
@@IBOKevin Ooouuh, pinch harmonics are an amazing technique! If you've seen some other covers of mine you can notice how much I love them by using them quite a lot!
I can only encourage you to learn it! It's a bit tricky at first, and it feels like needing so much accuracy, but don't worry, at some point it comes easily, and it's really useful :)
I agree. Im able to perform them using both hands, one holding the string and the other plucking but next step in learning for me is to do it with one hand. I noticed you were holding a chord to continue the sound of the guitar but also plucking with the other. Great stuff brother!
@@IBOKevin Oh yeah totally! The whole point to me of these harmonics is to extend the range of the instrument, and to be able to play high notes while still having stuff going on in the bass/middle range!
