Saddest and strangest part of this is you going through different items around your room, on your desk and then fancy dress because I remember almost every single one from vlogs across the years, seeing you buy them or wear them or use them. So proud of you and so grateful to have watched your journey 💛
i still remember the first uni vlog, freshers, the white t-shirt party, the dress as your subject party.. everything. damn, time flies. this has been amazing, Jack. I feel like i was a Durham student 😂😭 So excited for what's to come! Good luck x

Okay- 2020 has officially crossed the line. I can deal with WW3, I can deal with a global pandemic. But Jack saying 'I will no longer be a student at Durham university' has done it for me.

A month or so ago, I went back to the very beginning -- long before Durham-- and watched every episode up to the present. It took some time, but was a nice journey -- and if there is one thing we have these days, it is time.

As someone who moved houses 7 times in the last 10 years I feel like this hits me as I know how it must be saying goodbye to a place which you also connect with people and memories. and yes I also get very sentimental when it comes to throwing anything away! I have a box from every move that jjust has bits of papers, badges and things I know others wont feel the need to store. I also have a costume box ahaha

This is actually so weird. Having started uni at the same time and watched your vlogs all the way through this end of an era is really hitting home.
My parents had to move my stuff from my uni flat without me so this is as close as I'll get to the feeling of moving out

It’s the end of an era, I found your channel two years ago and I can’t believe it’s all over with uni vlogs so sad
omg I just cant believe we all went throught the same path. I graduated in 2020, I had to move back to my parents and leave my uni house in March, I had to empty my beloved one and only uni room in June and I was not even prepared for all those. I was, and still, feeling hearthbroken as I could not have a chance to say a proper goodbye to my house, my student life and youth. I am really sorry about it.

Mannnn this room was goal. And all these books😍😍😍 it’s most important thing I brought with me when I moved out.
I graduated from Durham in 2018 and I still miss it :( the college bops, the summer balls, grabbing a pizza from Paddys after a night out, meeting with friends in the Billy B and spending more hours in there than in my own house, walking along the river with friends after exams... all of it.

She even made it into one of your vids leapfrogging up the Bailey for the Olympics Rock climbing social. She’s moving into the Viaduct shortly so will be going past your front door soon!!. Whenever i feel like i m missing my hostel room and classes...i just watch this video over and over. I just love it. But fortunately my degree is 5 yr long (10 semesters) and i was just in 2nd semester. So there is still hope to see that hostel room again! I so wanna go back. Like covid u hv had enough- leave us alone.
That was too much for me. Was supposed to finish this year myself but I switched uni after first year so I finish this coming year and I don't want it to end. Loved following your journey jack!
