Copy, convert and remove contours
CorelDRAW allows you to copy contour properties to other objects.
You can also convert a contour to an object and you can remove a contour.
Converting a stroke to an object creates an unfilled closed object with the shape of the stroke. You can apply fills and special effects to the new object.
To copy contour properties to another object
1. Using the Selection tool, choose the object that has the contour you want to copy.
2. Right-click and drag the source object over the target object to which you want to apply the contour.A blue outline of the original object follows the pointer to the new object.
3. When the pointer turns into a crosshair , release the mouse button and choose Copy Contour Here from the contextual menu.
To convert a contour to an object
Select an object.
The contour becomes an unfilled closed object, independent of the fill of the original object.
If you want to apply a fill to the new object, the fill is applied to the area that was the contour of the original object.
To convert a contour to an object, press Ctrl + Shift + Q
To remove the contour of an object
1.Select an object.
2.In the property bar, choose None in the Contour width list box.
