I tried to paint like you..Actually I'm not good at arts but by following your tips. I managed to get an unexpected result..I was shocked to see that it actually turned out to be so good..So I could say this is one of the easiest tutorial of all time
That's cool... Good for you. I can't afford to buy whats needed being disabled. But one thing I can say, is whatever you paint...it doesn't have to be exact/perfect.....sometimes its those that are most beautiful. *AND* something *YOU* did yourself... Be proud! My cousin in Ohio, 61 yrs old... 2 yrs older than I am..threw away her art career. Literally...she was 10 yrs old in art school after a teacher saw she sketched with a pencil... A tree trunk from the field. She had the depth and perception down. It was beautiful. Also, my Aunt didn't realise her talent until one day she says she was putting away her clothes and K, never closed her closet door....so my Aunt closes the closet door..... Then she jumped back cause on the door staring back at her was a 6 ft tall green Dr. Seuss Grinch staring back at her, eyes glaring....arms crossed!!!! It was INCREDIBLE!! K was 10 yrs old and drew it from her Dr. Suess book that was sized 5x8? She outlined it and drew it in with her paint set. She was angry at her Mom.... And drew him she said. Lol 🤣🤣 She had a great career....and when married..left her job as a graphic designer. Shame really...4 yrs at the University. So... Anything is possible... Sorry to ramble.. But I just had to say.....you do you! Good luck!

Suffering from early arthritis, I am happy to see your use of unusual objects to paint with. Your work is very inspiring. I turned to sewing ans crocheting when my hand became too unsteady to draw to my satisfaction. Maybe, in a few more years I will return to this work, thanks to your inspiration.

Try putting a paper or napkin underneath the canvas
I use a piece of oil cloth. I wipe it clean and reuse it several times before replacing it
