I find this fascinating. Like how animators stretch and distort body proportions to make the animations more fluid, it’s pretty much the same principle used in hand drawn animation. No wonder the animations are some of, if not the best in all of gaming. All the characters have dynamic movement and poses like in comic books. They all have their own unique running, jumping, shooting, and melee animations and that attention to detail should always be appreciated.

on the bright side these stretches and squishes make the characters look like theyre actually jumping and landing unlike other games that makes the character go straight to a air animation. everything else makes it all look cartoony but i guess thats the style blizzard is trying to go for in this game
The fact that I don't notice this at full speed is amazing, they did an amazing job of making squash and stretch work. It's one of those things that you don't notice until it's gone, that makes the animation so much better.
