This pain is changing him into a different person, but it's also matured him and we get to see these beautiful little moments between Baela and Jace growing as a relationship. 18:33 It's this scene with Aemond, seriously, you (screenwriters) are going to put him as a poor thing, that's enough Alicent now,even Aemond too, he's a psychopath, bro, in the books,he kills Lucerys on purpose, and when he gets home, he and Aegon and his family green they all make a fuss because Rhaenyra's son died here comes the series makes the boy's death an "Accident" and now makes Aemond "Repentant" for what he did? (Our Queen is so jealous🤭) and Mysaria giving a feminist speech and using Otto and Daemon as equal sides of the same coin? only saw the script Otto shined in this episode. he used his great-grandson's death to gain popular support. he spat in his grandson's face that he wasn't chosen and that his father was right for that. and finally he told Alicent to keep her sins in order to tell the devil because he wasn't interested (and I'm not interested in knowing either) about Alicent's victimhood. Even though she's fighting with her husband, she doesn't take off her ring, I feel bad because of the thickness of it, you can see her bones shining 😂😂😂

I believe Daemon. He owns up to the things he’s done. Didn’t deny “ king for a day” comment. Didn’t deny corrupting Rhynaera on the night out. Based on actor interview, Matt said it was a mistake.
We don't know what he said when they asked him:"what if we don't find him?". And why would the big guy say "A Son for a Son" if Daemon didn't say those exact same words?
A couple cool details: - Helaena was working on the her son's burial shroud before he even died in episode 1 - Criston cole is still kingsgaurd, with all the associated vows, he is just hand of the king as well - Aegon destroying the model of valyria is symbolic of viserys life's work of keeping the realm at peace being destroyed

I know daemon isn’t perfect but he is right most of the time. Many times he has told rhaenyra to act before the greens make their move and she kept hesitating. Mainly because she fears that dragons will destroy everything. But daemon proposed sneaking into kings landing and taking them out stealthy. She still hesitated and all of it leads to terrible results. If people would listen to daemon the dance of dragons would of never happened

Cole is still Lord Commander, he's just also Hand now. Kingsguard is for life, up until Ser Barristan Selmy was dismissed there was no way to leave but death, rather like the Nightswatch. The only other time a Lord Commander was also Hand of the King was Ser Ryam Redwyne under King Jaehaerys, but he was considered such a bad Hand he was replaced in under a year. He was briefly in S1 still as Lord Commander. I think his example is meant to indicate that the qualities of a great knight do not transfer to being a great hand.
I liked the scene with the Twins, there were people who didn't like it because they didn't feel as much about the death of their brothers, but if people aren't sad about that scene, it's because we didn't have that much scene between the two of them because the public cares about the characters for reasons that not everyone They were so emotional in this scene, but that's why the writers are educated, that's why I say it's good, it shows all the characters and shows a lot on the screen because the audience cares about the characters, but for me, I really liked the scene. “We were born together, you separated us. It is not at all wasteful opportunity to marry Jace and Baela - it is best of possible opportunities, as it ensures both loyalties of Daemon (he won't be trying put his son on throne in place of Jacaerys if his daughter is to be Queen) and Corlys Velaryon (if ever would want to go back at Velaryon boys because they are not his biological grandsons, his biological granndaughter is to Queen of entire continent - there is literally no better alliance; whom can Green offer? Aemond is engaged and is not heir anyway, Daeron is 3rd son with no prospects.). Also Baela loves Jacaerys and it is defintely better for Crown Prince to have partner he can fully trust than some stranger girl. They are basically the healthiest and most united couple in HotD, they are perfect match! Marriage between Luke and Rhaena was also very good offer, as that would leave both Rhaenyra son and Velaryon blood on seat of Driftmark, so it would satisfy both Rhaenyra and Velaryons.

The show never showed Daemon's reply for a reason, so viewers can play the guessing game. At the end of the day you can never be 100% sure whether he ordered for the child or not. (Personally I never placed Daemon on a rightious pedestal so I'm alright with his actions, being honorable isn't his trait, he can and will be sly and sneaky to get the job done. He isn't Jon Snow that would ask for 1 for 1 fair combat outright. In ep1 tournamant he played dirty against his opponent. I think he's selfish, his love for his brother and Rhaenyra comes first, and if he had to burn KLs for it he would do it no matter the cost.)
"A son for a son, he said" - when Blood said this, it told us what Daemon's answer had been. But he likely meant Aegon: a son of Alicent for a son of Rhaenyra.
"It's ambiguous" is the rallying cry of people who don't pay attention. Blood quoted Daemon, verbatim, as saying "A son for a son," after the scene cut. So, yes, Daemon enabled Jaehaerys's death.

The 90% direction that the show is gunning for is for you quick to assume viewers to take it as Jaehaerys at face value. For lord knows, Daemond could have been referring to Aegon. Daemon was a causing factor that led to the child’s death because of his “ambiguity”, but no one but Daemond knows if he uttered the child’s name from his own lips.

Otto shined in this episode. he used his great-grandson's death to gain popular support. he spat in his grandson's face that he wasn't chosen and that his father was right for that. and finally he told Alicent to keep her sins in order to tell the devil because he wasn't interested (and I'm not interested in knowing either) about Alicent's victimhood.
Even though she's fighting with her husband, she doesn't take off her ring, I feel bad because of the thickness of it, you can see her bones shining 😂😂😂

- Helaena was working on the her son's burial shroud before he even died in episode 1
- Criston cole is still kingsgaurd, with all the associated vows, he is just hand of the king as well
- Aegon destroying the model of valyria is symbolic of viserys life's work of keeping the realm at peace being destroyed

I know daemon isn’t perfect but he is right most of the time. Many times he has told rhaenyra to act before the greens make their move and she kept hesitating. Mainly because she fears that dragons will destroy everything. But daemon proposed sneaking into kings landing and taking them out stealthy. She still hesitated and all of it leads to terrible results. If people would listen to daemon the dance of dragons would of never happened
The only reason things go downhill at all is because of Daemon. Rhaenyra wants peace, and the one making that impossible was Daemon.

Cole is still Lord Commander, he's just also Hand now. Kingsguard is for life, up until Ser Barristan Selmy was dismissed there was no way to leave but death, rather like the Nightswatch. The only other time a Lord Commander was also Hand of the King was Ser Ryam Redwyne under King Jaehaerys, but he was considered such a bad Hand he was replaced in under a year. He was briefly in S1 still as Lord Commander. I think his example is meant to indicate that the qualities of a great knight do not transfer to being a great hand.
I liked the scene with the Twins, there were people who didn't like it because they didn't feel as much about the death of their brothers, but if people aren't sad about that scene, it's because we didn't have that much scene between the two of them because the public cares about the characters for reasons that not everyone They were so emotional in this scene, but that's why the writers are educated, that's why I say it's good, it shows all the characters and shows a lot on the screen because the audience cares about the characters, but for me, I really liked the scene.

Now I understand why the critics only talked about this fight (Daemon & Rhaenyra) the whole episode was warm after it was over... Otto's scene with Aegon was great and the twins scene too that's all that was cool about this episode 2. (I liked it of the episode, but I found it more or less, but I hope that episode 3 is better than the first and second)
It is not at all wasteful opportunity to marry Jace and Baela - it is best of possible opportunities, as it ensures both loyalties of Daemon (he won't be trying put his son on throne in place of Jacaerys if his daughter is to be Queen) and Corlys Velaryon (if ever would want to go back at Velaryon boys because they are not his biological grandsons, his biological granndaughter is to Queen of entire continent - there is literally no better alliance; whom can Green offer? Aemond is engaged and is not heir anyway, Daeron is 3rd son with no prospects.). Also Baela loves Jacaerys and it is defintely better for Crown Prince to have partner he can fully trust than some stranger girl. They are basically the healthiest and most united couple in HotD, they are perfect match!
Marriage between Luke and Rhaena was also very good offer, as that would leave both Rhaenyra son and Velaryon blood on seat of Driftmark, so it would satisfy both Rhaenyra and Velaryons.

The show never showed Daemon's reply for a reason, so viewers can play the guessing game. At the end of the day you can never be 100% sure whether he ordered for the child or not. (Personally I never placed Daemon on a rightious pedestal so I'm alright with his actions, being honorable isn't his trait, he can and will be sly and sneaky to get the job done. He isn't Jon Snow that would ask for 1 for 1 fair combat outright. In ep1 tournamant he played dirty against his opponent. I think he's selfish, his love for his brother and Rhaenyra comes first, and if he had to burn KLs for it he would do it no matter the cost.)
"A son for a son, he said" - when Blood said this, it told us what Daemon's answer had been. But he likely meant Aegon: a son of Alicent for a son of Rhaenyra.
"It's ambiguous" is the rallying cry of people who don't pay attention. Blood quoted Daemon, verbatim, as saying "A son for a son," after the scene cut. So, yes, Daemon enabled Jaehaerys's death.
