I think this is literally the first time I have ever seen footage of an orangutan behaving aggressively, like ever
check out monkey steals banana from orangutan mouth vids ,they get pretty scary
@Pappy van winkle oh shut up,theyre amazing animals
@J C Edgy
male who grow cheek pads ( around 10-30 years old) can get aggressive and stop to tolerate others males around their territory.
Those humans were at his territory aiming snipers at him how do you expect him not to be aggressive?
Everyone is gangsta, untill Casper dives into the river
lol
then this vid will show on news chanel
Orangutans cannot swim.
@@NIVIYE15 thanks for the info bro, I just knew from your comment.. And I also see some orangutans swimming inspite of their dense bodies, in some videos. Thanks for the info though 😊
Everybody gangsta til Casper drowns
I love how they splash him knowing he dosnt like water ,and then he throws a stick at them.
Like humans being petty to each other lol
'normal male orangutan responding appropriately to being shot at with a dart' is a more accurate title.
He was willing to rip them in half before knowing their intentions
@@adamlion3495 well they trespass in his territory, a big group of human just come to his home, of course he feel threatened.
1:11 Special gift from Kasper:)
That’s f*cking hilarious!
Really? Lol they caught that audio too? Better not have been a sound effect lol.
LOL
@@georgeagar4210 no need to swear
Casper: Let that be a warning.
Animals actually poop when scared that's why despite Kaper's poker face, deep down he really felt threatened even though they want to help.
Imagine a gang of humans doing this to you he acted naturally as anyone would
That’s true except for chimps, those savages will attack anything for fun there literally animals
@@David-vr4bx That's not true at all. They fight for territory and sure some die, but how many other species of animals do the same. There was that one rogue Chimp Troop, I believe the Ngogo Chimps that were super aggressive and even killed members of their own troop, but they are an exception to the rule.
Good for KASPER. He is territorial and aggressive. He will be a KING OF THE JUNGLE !!!

He's not aggressive. He's just defending himself. Good for him
You don't want this kind of behavior toward humans if you wish to convince locals to accept big wild animals. This is cool but not if you're a villager in Borneo with a 7 year old that walks with the other kids to the next village over for school.
@@MassNssen He defends himself not without a reason, if we do not disturb their nature they will not disturb us, orangutans and Borneo humans have existed side by side since the dawn of time, but because human selfishness destroys their habitat, orangutans don't see the good in people, what if your house was taken by people, would you let them treat you as they please because they're afraid you're angry because they're taking ur house?
@@MassNssen school verses this beutiful animal..i vote orangutan..
@@MassNssen orangutans are not like humans. Even though males are territorial, they will not attack some normal person passing by on a path. Here there are many people with weapons surrounding him and he will obviously behave aggressively.
No, he is aggressive there is nothing wrong with being
Aggressive it's not a slur.
He is magnificent. They did a wonderful job of raising him. Those cheek pads are a good indicator of how He will fare out in the big jungle, with bigger, older males. Thank you for all you do for these most awesome, incredible primates.
Yes indeed he would be a dominant male but then he might have some competition so
And there were 8 foot tall versions of these that went extinct. Imagine how massive those were
actually they were 10 foot but tigers used to attack them

@@bluruckuscrx8124 wow ya I can’t imagine.
This makes me so so so happy. His aggression isnt just good practice for other males he will meet in the forest, but also for horrible humans with guns not containing sedatives
@Goosa Poosa the aggression can be used to dissuade naive poachers though, I heard that was the case with a certain tiger known as Ustad by rangers which due to his aggressive nature made poachers reluctant to venture in the territory until he was removed from the area after killing several humans unprovoked. Similarly, I’ve heard cases of silverback gorillas and male chimpanzees protecting their troops from poachers attacks despite often dying in the process. Now granted an orangutan isn’t as fierce or fast as these other animals I’ve mentioned but still I don’t think aggression is a bad trait
Or horrible humans that will tranquilize the orangutan to steal his fur.
Hope Kasper lives and rules the jungle forever. He’s amazing
All of a sudden Casper learns how to swim lol
Or he just walks at the bottom of the river and drags them under without a trace like Jason
Humans are the only ape that evolved the ability to swim
@@patricksarama4963 we are op
They can swim, if they learn to, but very few actually do and in the wild it’s so dangerous that few have the curiosity to. They learn by example normally

Anyone else come here because they've never seen an orangutan be anything but chill and just wanted to see what an angry one looked like?
"You ain't probing me again you perverts!"
That is EXACTLY how you want an Alpha male to behave. Clever Boy!
all males reading this...this is what females want us to behave, like flanged otangutan males, other than that and you will be a SOY

I thought I was the only one who noticed the thumbnail.....😃
Wish they'd bring back orangutan island. Loved that show. Really got to see how social and intelligent these animals are.
I love he is being agressive but his face is like: "Bro leave me alone, i just want eat a banana in peace"
Did not think Orangutans could ever get this aggressive. I always thought they were one of the more peaceful primates.
He's only aggressive because he's angry he'll be shot with a dart.
I think so, too. But this is a good sign for fully wild release. BOSF did a great job with Kasper.
They're definitely one of the calmer apes, but they'll still defend themselves and their territory like any other animal.
Based Kasper shows who's boss.
Oh my god those poor guys jumping into the water like that I feel bad for them but they're doing a good job 👍 and I salute to them.
Good the guy wasn't greeted in the water by hungry Gators

Saltwater crocodiles too

The thumbnail is like an action movie still.. The orangutan is like "Are you gonna pull the trigger, punk? You don't have the guts."

Kasper just catches a dart right in front of him and throws it back and hits the guys 😂
It was so funny when Kasper was swinging the stick at the guys in the water, and smart as heck to not linger after they shot at him the first time. The way the group dispersed in the beginning had cracking up so hard.😂
That is great sign, he will do great back in the wild where he belongs. Glad no one got hurt,

It’s actually not that bad of an idea considering orangutans can’t swim

Kasper won! Go Kasper Go
Thats great how he picks up the club and casually swings it at them.. Such an intelligent guy! You can tell he just wants to be left alone no more no less at his home in peace. Like most people would do to uninvited guest at there house. It would be very interesting to see what they are millions of years from now. Probably very human like! Thats if they survive for a million years that all depends on the current most intelligent primates on there survival. I think they will be around for a long time especially since humans are taking conservation more seriously now.
