this is really cool. I'm guessing the counter rotating motion of the arms is accomplished by a sort of locked differential where the arms are mechanically linked so that they always counter rotate. I'm also assuming that each arm has within their respective pivot shaft some sort of torsion spring that allows each arm to "hyperextend" in order to absorb shocks and sudden changes in wheel elevation. I'm also guessing there's a similar sort of differential between the two wheels in order to drive them both at the same time. either that or the drive shaft is solid and each wheel has a freewheel that can let the outer wheel "fall behind" inside wheel gets the power when taking turns. I can't wait for you to have refined the design enough to let us see it.
You could use this suspension concept on a recumbent tadpole trike and be lighter with only the standard single drivechain system. Leading arm suspension for the anti dive braking characteristics and twice the grip on the steering- we all know what happens on a normal bike around a corner when the front wheel slips!
The basic version will have two electric motors for each of the rear wheels for better traction on off-road routes. so will be a hub motor with no chain and I believe be rear two wheels will be more closer each other not so wide like long tail back frame. You will have another version with a mid drive motor with belts on the two rear wheels. Great job.
there should be a recumbent version also. if powered with electricity, and with some aerodynamic cockpit, it could compete with cars for in-city commuting
@@WhyNotCycles Hi, I'm a big fan of electric bicycles, I fell in love with one in particular with a white inverty motor, because I saw it on your channel and the truth is, I'm building a similar one, I'd like to know about your bike if you kept the one in the video. ? You would sell it to me, it is the best thing I have seen, I would like to buy it or contact you pintosomauricio@gmail.com I live in Colombia a big hug I hope your answer thanks
#whynotcycles you may reduced the rear weights by going front wheel drive FWD, lean steering instead. Same leaning design on rear minus chains and drive system. Or you may do both FWD and RWD lean steering. Now I subscribed.
@@WhyNotCycles thanks for the response! is it not strange that you can't see the actuall space requirements of the rear wheels with your eyes during the turn ?
@@WhyNotCycles maybe you could put two lightweight carrying boxes in the front part on both sides which would be equivalent of the rear axle width so your eyes could verify the turning curve in advance for the rear parts.
@Maciej Jan Długosz I think it is stable because it's inclining. On the other hand, tadpole can also crash. badly. Like this: ua-cam.com/video/tcFrGid7R3I/v-deo.html
Ты крутой челаут...тотко двигатель нужен не на батарейках...вся эта электричесская дичь это маленький пробег и шесть часов зарядки...нужен бензин.. и будет Ок :)
Hello. Im working on a new improved design of my rear suspension tilting system and I think, by the end of the summer, a Kickstarter campaign will be launched. Thank you
Make it gas powered with like a 50 cc 2stroke/4stroke or maybe a small rotary wankel engine(yes it exists!) from a lawnmower , it will be a lot more fun for your ears and it will be probably cheaper and faster to refuel.
What has a small rotary engine? Smallest I've ever heard of was a largish 1970's road bike (Suzuki I think) anyhow, rotarys are as thirsty as 2 strokes and need more care to keep running. If there's a lawnmower with a 50cc motor, it's a scale model! Smallest I've seen starts above 150cc.
how many times does this bikes chain come off your rear tires ....alot you slow way down on bumps and that chain is loose you dont pedal at this time because it comes off alot stop speeding up the film is the bike simply a down hill bike not one incline in any of your videos not one the terrain has already been selected and you have to navigate its course or bad things will happen some your claim is not true superior to what iknow all this because i did the same thing your arrogance angers me because i know and others need to
when this bike turns the axel pivot point comes way to low you will hit a boulder a curb the deraileur even closer you slow way down when you come to roughness because it will bottom out and derail the chain .you have a lot more work if you want to carry weight any thing in all applications of transporting cargo does not lean . come on now the weight be all over the place. bike manufactures wont touch it because it has problems only the creator knows of your spinning counter wheel useless on hill climbs oh i didnt see any hill climbing you know and the people who buy this bike will still have to navigate terrain so that claim is false show it climbing anything something also allow others colleagues people who use bikes day in dayout decide if this design is superior under true conditions it will fail thats why manufactures wont touch it sorry i know a little something about bikes simplify when designing for average consumer trouble free easy to maintain is the key
A new version of this unique tricycle is live on Kickstarter now!

Unbelievable result! Congrats!
Love it - maybe get ride of that rear derailleur for an internal for less mate. Or even change out the chains for belts.
Cheers
Awesome invention, Congrats!

Front wheel drive for snow would be perfect

Great work....
What's the advantage over a normal, two-wheeled cargo bike? The disadvantage, obviously: More moving parts, more prone to failure; and more weight.

Φίλε είσαι άψογος! Πολύ ωραίο!
Hi ... where to buy or can be order by mail? Very interesting to ride.
Amazing. I hope will not expensive...
I'm sitting here with CAD software open and 3 bafang hub motors.
so

Nice! But There don't see suspensions, so going off-road is not going to be very confortable....
I will buy this. Please make it.
What was your idea of not putting the two wheels in the front?

When will U turns be available and how much?
From the looks of this design, it looks like this could be applied to a Recumbent trike?
Yes! It is possible!

Curious - does this require balancing like a bike?
Bonjour où trouver ce tricycle ? Merci de bien vouloir me répondre.

@Maciej Jan Długosz For real????
@Maciej Jan Długosz Oh wow so disappointed. I need a trike bad. Thanks for the heads up.
that is awesome
what type of wheel did you use for the rear tilting system?
Does this bike have torsion suspension ?
Como funciona la suspensión?????
which is better the ride this one or the two wheel in the front, one in the back version ?
This one by far.
@@WhyNotCycles thanks for the response!
is it not strange that you can't see the actuall space requirements of the rear wheels with your eyes during the turn ?
Yes it is. The hardest fact is you have to count the upper side of the inside wheel due to tilting phenomenon during turn..
