I did this for a guy once. And it honestly didn’t end well. He rejected me bc I was like “every other girl” and that he liked me because we had a lot in common before I tried dressing up. I have been recently trying to change how I look, so people don't see me as the girl who always wears oversized sweaters all the time. But when I try to wear different kinds of clothes that I'm not comfortable in, I feel weird. Like it's not me. As a kid, I have always been trying to change myself, because i like someone and he is best friends with more of a “smart” girl, and i always get bad grades, so i tried to change myself, i tried to look smarter, be more “loud” and other stuff.
