This generation STI is still an underrated car. I know the EJ has issues but what other car comes with AWD, hydraulic steering, manual transmission, 3 LSD’s, 6 piston front and 4 piston rear brakes in this price range? I have a 2019 STI and will be keeping it for a long long time.
Fp blue is an awesome turbo..it's a td05 20g..that turbo is crazy dude...was in full boost by 3800rpm all the way to redline, made 465whp on 91+meth...now I'm riding with the fp black...that's a monster compare to the blue....pulls stupid hard....
Dude that’s freaking sick!!! How’s that fp black 😱 that’s so badass! Did you have to trim the block for it to fit? I’d be tempted to try that in the future but I’m pretty dead set on going Ets Rotated! Any info on why you went with fb black instead? And how it compares going ets rotated with a big precision turbo ?
Nice video and amazing setup! Have you tried or do you know how much the stock BPV can handle? I'm running 25psi atm and it seems (they say) there's no leak. Do you also know if the stock boost gauge would read peak values above 25psi? Thank you! :)
I’ve heard that’s about max for the stock Bpv, haven’t tested the theory myself considering once going speed density the tial is definitely the way to go 😁👍🏻 and the stock boost gauge will not show more that’s the max, unless you install your own aem gauges! Goodluck
Hey quick question on a build like that is it ok to stay with the Uel headers ???Because I like the rumble sound And don't want to lose it. Alot people say ELH is better but I disagree
Planning on a similar build contemplating on whether i should keep id1050x or if idc’s will be too high hitting mid 400’s? Just wondering if u can share idc’s that u are hitting with 1300s
Hey man excluding exterior Mods and Some Mods you can Skip out on, your looking at about a range 6-10,000 😅 these cars need some bigger turbos and injectors to make some good power!
Yeah Sti aren’t cheap, So far I have Cobb aos, iag oil pan kit, cylinder 4 mod, Cobb bpv, koyorad radiator, Cobb redline intake, Kartboy shifter and bushings. Grimmspeed catback, accessport, and protune. Making 286 whp and 322 tq on pump 91. That’s about 3k - 3300 in parts and 350 on my tune, about 1500 in labor. Currently waiting for Cobb carb approved e85 so I can drop 3k in parts to upgrade fueling. End goal is 340-350 whp on e85.
I Talk about in a few of the builds videos 😁 Full Exhaust. Tomei catback with invidia downpipe, ebc, iag aos comp.series Upgraded Fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator and 1300 ID Injectors, E85 fuel with a Fp blue aftermarket Turbo! 🫡 also on speed density, with a 4in Ets Front mount Intercooler, few other minor upgrades as well! Grimmspeed Cobb Ets Iag all great companies 👍🏻
Yes stock clutch still at 59k! I don’t launch the car from a dig often aggressively but I do have my fun! Holding up no problems so far I’ll stay posted on how it feels over time, Also final trq was around 420! 😁
Yess I just made the deadline For this setup! I’ll keep posted on future builds getting tuned, we are thinking open software our tuner is very comfortable with it 😁 and used to do open software before Cobb
@@joshtoslow hell yeah man!! I’m with you, these cars feel so much better when getting some mods and a good dyno tune on them! Wishing you good luck with your build!
@@thesubiefam they sold flexfuel kits right up until they dropped the greenspeed memo with 30day notice of support being pulled. I don't sympathize with Cobb.
Yeah that’s sadly UA-cams music edit 🥲 that’s the lowest we can go with using UA-cam’s music but soon we will be expanding our music and be able to adjust levels much better! Using other softwares
I thought about it but so much money goes into just 500 horsepower closed deck motor etc then to pay a extra 10 or 15k and God forbid the motor blows up. Ej motor are so sensitive I don't feel comfortable dropping more bread. Personally if I could do it over again I would of went with a m3 without question.
@@tswid4495 tbh i havent had many different turbo setups, the wifes Sti is Currently at 300whp and its night and day difference between the 2, the Fp Blue is solid for you average daily setup thatll still feel like a complete animal compared to a stage 2 Sti, if i was you since you have a little bit better block with the ra platform i would go with external wastegate blouch if you looking for this power level, i do have to tell you im eager to build the block and do a ets rotated setup and get somehwhere in the 500swhp mark

Absolutely agree!! 👍🏻💯
Same. That’s why I bought a 2021
I’m buying one soon
All those reasons were why I bought my 18 STi. The 3 LSDs specifically. Nothing else offers that level of drive line stability

It’s crazy how easy the difference in power making is with the WRX/STI. My 21 WRX made 416hp on stock turbo/stock manifold.
That’s great! The Sti was around that on the stock turbo and manifold as well! Fp blue pushed it to that 487 crank on a mustang dyno 👍🏻
@@thesubiefam i meant 416whp, not crank. Just crazy you need aftermarket turbo to hit 400+whp. I do love the controlling to switch maps though.
@@4doork20 FA is trash
That is good number my Cobb 20g and I am making 416whp and 456 torque love it but I wish I got with a bit bigger turbo to be at 500
I’m with you man!! I’m planning a bigger setup right now tune into the channel 🙏🏻🤙🏻😭🤣
That's what I don't like about the stock turbo or however it hits on these cars, it's the "jerkiness". I get it
I just got this car and you answer all my questions lol

It’s definitely fun! Tbh is like the perfect power to have some fun around 🔥
What downpipe are you running that turbo whistle is absolutely nuts.
Invidia catted downpipe on this one bro 💪🏼 have catless Invidia on the wifes and the 07 right now

the 1050x's are good for about 500 whp from what i read online
I’d recommend going with 1300s for mid 400s honestly, no need to switch them out again in the future and the work load is much less 👍🏻
The car would look so much cleaner without all the stickers and decals 🍚
If you don’t mind.. how much was the build? I’m posting this mid video so excuse me if you said later in the vid

is this stock RA block? or just normal ej25
Completely bone stock normal ej25 👍🏻
Did you change out headers?
stock headers on this setup, i plan on doing a rotated setup in the future with the vband ETs headers, didn’t want to buy twice lol
@@thesubiefam Word! My tuner is trying to talk me into headers, ewg, and flex fuel. before doing the turbo. Im conflicted lol
