I’ve actually been going through the same thing where i’ve been really conscious about what i’m putting into my spirit. Does social media ever bother you in the same way secular music does? I actually took a break from social media because of this. I sometimes feel like I can hear Gods voice better when i’m not distracted with the lives of other people. Lol maybe it’s just me but do you (or anyone else) have this struggle?

i'm so happy i'm not alone on consecrating my eyes on Jesus. Social media hasn't bothered me personally, but I can understand how being in a world that's so comfortable with sin can be challenging. You can't heal in the same environment you got sick in! You're right about being able to hear God clearer when you're not consumed in other things. It's kinda like when you're trying to hear the teacher, but you have headphones in listening to music a little too loud.

Yess, same here!! I just need to get this out there, but recently I had to come to a decision about cutting someone off because they weren’t helping me in my growth as a person and with the Lord!!
After this decision I really started to make time for God! Recently there’s been an idea for a project - I don’t want to move forward unless I get God’s confirmation.

Sarah Sandoval I’ve been through that too. I studied abroad last semester and when I came back I had to cut off a lot of people bc it was the same anymore. I couldn’t put God first and be friends with a lot of my old friends. But I’m so glad you’re growing your relationship with the Lord! It’s the most important relationship you could ever have.
