SHOCKING Overgrown Sidewalk TRANSFORMATION For Elderly Veteran - SATISFYING RESULT

  • This sidewalk transformation shocked the homeowner and me.
After talking with the homeowner, we quickly realized we wanted to do what we could to help him and his wife out by getting their lawn back in shape so he could maintain it easier going forward. He had alot of medical issues last year so the yard got out of control. The sidewalks were severely overgrown and the leaves had started to pile up around the bushes. Once a property gets out of control it's hard to get it back.
Not only was he dealing with medical issues himself, but his wife has dementia so we had to schedule a time that he would be home while we were working on the property.
You can tell he likes working outside, but with his low heart rate, it's very difficult for him to get alot done. We were so happy we could help him out and I will be checking in on him from time to time.

My husband and I are in our mid-eighties and finally had to hire out our lawn care. But the care of our yard and home is going to become more than we can safely handle in a relatively short period of time. I can say that it is demoralizing when you can't maintain the standards you have set all of your life, so your helping out like this is truly priceless!

Usually in a neighborhood like this most people are in the same age range so not as able to help out. We tried our best to help keep up the side yard of my mother-in-laws neighbor when we did her yard for many years but it was difficult when her yard took a full day and we needed to care for ours as well and deal daily with her dementia. You can only do so much. We wanted to do more. We were able to get help for him when trees came down after a bad storm but it took a few weeks to find people to do it for free. He too was a veteran with dementia and was being cared for by a disabled daughter. You would be shocked at how many people are in this same situation.

Also, do you literally say nothing other than that on various random videos on UA-cam, as well as use other sock puppet username accounts to say the same things on other videos on UA-cam as well? Look, I get it, this world is slouching towards Gomorrah, and I completely understand that you want to save the world, as do I, but spamming a video with your comment will not get that done. Words are cheap, but actions are priceless and we humans are ALL judged, not just by our words, but also by our actions, in our lives, and if our actions and words are not consistent with one another, let alone if our actions and words are against YAHWEH EL ELOHIM and His Holy Word, then those things are worthless and they only serve to condemn us, that is, the human race, on the Day of Judgement. Do you want to be the blind leading the blind so that you both fall into the ditch? Please, learn to expand your comments from quoiting the Holy Scriptures and actually learn to relate the Gospel towards the lost people. You need to do your best to relate to humankind instead of copying and pasting the Holy Scriptures because the people that are the most against you copy and paste their various forms of idiocy to the masses and they are better at the deed, too. You need to exploit the flaws in the evildoers, but, at the same time, also relate to people. This is why YAHASHUA HA'MASHIACH preached with parables often in the Holy Scriptures...He wanted to relate to people, the commoner, as well as with the person of influence, in order to get them to understand the Holy Scriptures. Why not learn from His Word that He taught to humankind instead?

Seeing you clear this sidewalk reminds me of a house we moved into when I was a kid that had a brick sidewalk. It was in even worse shape than this one. We moved in in December and I remember shoveling that sidewalk that first winter was a real pain. It was like shoveling the lawn. The next Spring I remember spending practically the whole day clearing that walk of built up grass and the next door neighbor gave me his watering can and some Ortho TRIOX liquid vegetation killer to sprinkle on it( that's what he used on his sidewalk ) and never had a grass problem on the sidewalk again as long as we lived in that house. So I have the utmost admiration and respect for some of these jobs that you tackle.

Amazing! Wish we had men like you in WV, where I live. Since my dad passed 12 years ago, I moved in with my mom on land that has been in the family for over 140 years. It's 50 achers, but 90 % of that is woods. We pay a neighbor to cut the grass, but he is older and only comes once or twice a month. We hired a couple, a friend of my mom's daughter and her husband who were out of work, payed them really well, found out they were stealing. The neighbor who cuts for us only does the lawn of the house we live in. My grandmother's house behind us has not been cut in 4 years. The beautiful open field is grown up. I got an estiment for my grandmother's yard and possible cleanimg up the field, I was quoted more money than me or my mother earnd in a couple months. We let it go, I know, but My mom is 86 and blind, and I am in my 50's and I am diabled due to an injury. I am telling you all this because I want to say there are not many good people like you left. I remember growing up and my dad would put the push mower in the back of the truch and manual weeding tools and go cut someones lawn because he heard they were sick or their mower broke or they lost their job. He delivered mail out where we live, until I was 14, so he knew everyone and he never once thought about missing the WV Mountieers game or watching his golf on TV if someone needed help. I have seen several lawn care videos pop up with guys helping people for free. This world needs more peopel like you. Thank you for your kind heart!

I work for a landscaping company, you make the job look actually fun and satisfying. Using the right tools for the job makes a huge difference. contrasted by the company I work for using old handheld blowers that couldn't blow a pine cone down the sidewalk, mowing massive fields with regular little lawnmowers, mowing and trimming in downpours. driving around hauling a trailer that's literally falling apart. mowing and trimming hundreds of people's dog shit-filled back yards for free so the condo complexes hire us back. so happy this will be my last year with these guys.
