i can never describe how this song makes me feel inside... it's one of the only songs that has permeated into my every fiber of existence. it is perfect.
This is the kind of person Bjork is. The original title for the album this song is on was "Ink" as she wanted the title to represent the "5,000 year-old blood that's inside us all; an ancient spirit that's passionate and dark, a spirit that survives" I love her music, she is so out there
Sometimes when I look up at the moon and stars on cool, clear nights, I momentarily forget my problems and just focus on the good things in life. This video also does that for me and that's why I love it so much
I first heard this track on headphones and the part where she whispers "Repeatedly...repeatedly" went from one ear to the other! It tickled! I adore this one. xoxo
"With a palmful of stars, I throw them like dice on the table Until the desired constellation appears..." This song inspired "Constellation Dice" on Indiegogo...
this viedo captures everything about her music her immagination and creativity is just out of this world. Her voice is like those stars in the beginning she starts off low key then she grabs you with the hook her sound has its own constallation her own space in time she is truely geniune
Apologies if you already knew this, but she's singing the e.e. cummings poem, "it may not always be so." Totally agree: the song and the poem are both wonderful
REPEATLY!!!
this song...it just hits you as something that is so peaceful that if you aren't careful yu could miss it i calms all the stress and hate right out of me...
I remember listening to this song off of a website and it was listed as Sonnet Unrealities?... some people think it's the wrong song lol. it's definitely desired constellation.. just listen to the lyrics people. hehe
it looks like orion and cassiopeia, with the latter meeting the former on its top right. although, i think it's just an added emphasis on the "w" shape that makes it look like cassiopeia - there are some other stars near orion that make a w shape and share a star with it.
With a lot of Bjork stuff i listen to it after not hearing it for a while and come to new conclusions of what the actual meaning of the song is. i'm probably completely wrong most of the time, but it makes the song a little bit more special for me. like this song, i love the whole sound of this one, and i love the vocals. unfortunatly medulla just didn't do it for me. i didn't like the other voices in that record, and too much vocal only stuff.
You might like iamamiwhoami. Some of her music sounds like Bjork's music. The entirety of Bjork's Vespertine album (excluding Pagan Poetry) sounds like this song, in the sense that it's very soft and calm.
...to the 12 people that dishonored this gorgeous record by "disliking" this video, ask yourselves: how am i going to make it right?

I feel the constellations in my bones
Fiyinfoluwa Alao when does she say this?
bjork doesn't say it in the song, it's not part of the lyrics
One of her many masterpieces.
once again, Bjork manages to hit a spot inside me I didn't even know existed. thanks bjork.
One of Bjorks beautiful songs.
I think it heals me

I have to love Medulla on top of any other work of hers, it's so well mixed and has this twisted freeing felling... it gets me _good._
@2:33 Bjork is the only woman who could say the word "repeatedly" and send chills running down your spine.
I first heard this track on headphones and the part where she whispers "Repeatedly...repeatedly" went from one ear to the other! It tickled! I adore this one. xoxo
Probably my favourite Bjork song... fantastic.
no words give justice to this gem of a masterpiece song. indescribable
I come and cry peacefully from time to time
i love the simplicity and how understated so many bjork songs are,
gives me chills :)
just amazing...she is an oracle, I am so happy that there is someone making this amazing music for us to experience
I love this song and "Unravel" and "Unison" and "Hiperballad" and "Wanderlust" and .....
"With a palmful of stars, I throw them like dice on the table
Until the desired constellation appears..."
This song inspired "Constellation Dice" on Indiegogo...
You really like them dice huh
what would I do without this song..
...maybe you would have learned how to make music and made the song by yourself :D
hehe that would be cool. This song is amazing. ;)
This is one of Björk's best videos so far. And the song, of course, is brilliant.
this viedo captures everything about her music her immagination and creativity is just out of this world. Her voice is like those stars in the beginning she starts off low key then she grabs you with the hook her sound has its own constallation her own space in time she is truely geniune
I LOOOOVE Sonnet/Unrealities IX!! Then I shall turn my head and hear one bird sing terribly afar in the lost lands...
Genius.
Apologies if you already knew this, but she's singing the e.e. cummings poem, "it may not always be so." Totally agree: the song and the poem are both wonderful

@ObitoKiwiboy shes true to herself. if everyone could match themselves, they're would be more people like bjork, only no bjork, themselves. :)
what a genius!
all the videos from medullah are so beautifull.
i love it!!
listen to this tune one night while overlooking an array of lights from a city while high up on a hill somewhere, i dare you. lol
NO WORDS TO DESCRIBE THIS WOMAN...

I ask myself this too... I wish there was a star that came down and I could just hug it and make it all go away.
Electricity. Sadness.
Björk. Tack!!
yeah ... very beautiful. i love björk.
Is this an official video!?! I've never seen it before. Weird, but wonderful! :)
Björk make feel alive! She trnslate my own sensations and this song is very great! Elle s'en fout de ce que je ressens, I don't care, I love her!
This song is so important to me.
Well, one never knows.. YOU might have been Lynn Fox, after all.
That was awesome. :) I wonder if those were Bjork hands..
well..to be precise :
Olivier Alary explains very well what he did in an interview on Cat On the Wall..
take a look ;O)
If the outer space had any sound, this is how it'd sound like.
@ecfu Yes, right words...

the little dipper upside down...
but its only a fan art video, not official, im pretty sure. although it so nice Björk should probably buy it off the creator and make it official.
