UPDATE! Sony actually released firmware update 4.00 for the FX30 & 5.00 for the FX3 TODAY. These are NOT the updates covered in this video. These two firmware updates are for compatibility with Creators Cloud app along with stability for each camera.
Hey man, it took like one year and half to get SA, maybe we could get open gate, i dream that when i get my fx30 they announce something like that, or even more RAW cappabilities, who knows, i'm just patient.

But the a7s3 is getting new updates… I should get a red camera a real cinema camera something that has pro features
why U need shutter angle, its simple math divaded by 2 of frame rate, and it exist only because sentiment. all repeated this thing without thinking. cheers
@@shem44 Its also a big misunderstanding. Because many people think that this rule applies at high frame rates. And then it's just a waste of light. It's more of a rule about blur in a given motion vector and time. For example. If you use a frame rate of 1000 frames per second and a shutter of 180 degrees, i.e. 1/2000 of a second. after slowing down to 25 frames per second, you will have the result of slowing down the motion further with a 1/2000 second shutter. And you could set it to 1/1000 and save twice as much light. This rule sounds 180 degrees from the times of the first cameras. If u think about it You will see its all 180 panic is completly unnesesery.And it is a story repeated over and over again without being fully understood. Cheers

technically one dont need. One also don't need Cine EI to shoot slog. Shutter angle and cine EI is just to simplify the workflow.
