Chris, so many people would have given up after losing their Ebay store. You just took it in stride with no drama and now your doing better than ever. Very inspirational.
@@crushit9576 he stopped using eBay after they permanently suspended his account. That is a risk when using marketplaces like eBay. He has found other ways to sell goods.
Your positivity is infectious. I dove head first into reselling about 18 months ago and completely burned myself out in a couple of weeks, but this video is giving me inspiration to try again. I struggle with an 'all or nothing' mindset, this video is a good reminder to take things one step at a time, consistent and incremental improvement is the way to go!
I did the same! I was a machine last year from January until August. In August we went on vacation and when I came back I just couldn't get back in it. I continued to sell but didn't list much at all. Then I went back to work for a friend for the rest of the year. I still shipped daily but my store dropped from 800+ items down to 409. Going back to work for the same friend until June so that during the summer I can regroup and finally decide on a niche. It's been a crazy ride.
I asked 3-4 questions in my head throughout the video, within 1 minute of me thinking of the question you answered every question each time. Well made video and progression of video
I am so excited to continue to follow your journey. I started reselling full time about the same time, and to scale up, decided to work for a company to build and run their online sales, selling items considered not ideal for their discount brick and mortar stores. In one year, and with 2 people, I brought in over half a million for the company, in May of that year, we brought in clothing and sold $120k just in 7 months on Poshmark . It was amazing. But alas, after building them a firm foundation, I was no longer needed. I sold off all my inventory to work for them so I'm starting from scratch again, but so excited to know what I am capable of. So thank so for sharing your wins and misses. Your journey is inspiring and the information you provide is worth its weight in gold!
This got me in Tears!!! I’m so proud of you!!! I’m in the downest moment in my life and your whole spirit really up lift back my hustle!!! Congratulations Chris 🎉
I have been listing 15 a day and sales have gone increased a lot! My main issue is my average cost of goods is $8.35. I sell in the jeans category. I have sold 705 items in the last 90 days. My money being invest is a lot $$$
Congratulations and good luck in your new space. Incredible video, there is easily a year’s worth of time saving in this 15 minute video. So concise!!!
Great news !!!! your Congratulations!!!! I got two racks on January, and figuring out how to keep my 2k to 5k inventory at home for at least to the end of 2023. Thank you for all the content you share to us.
You lit the fire under my feet, I appreciate all of your time. Time is infinitely valuable, and to have so much of yours at my fingertips should be worth tens of thousands of dollars. Go slay that shit man.
I loved this. My box of choice is recycled“Spindrift” boxes from Costco. They are just the right width and length for shirts and pants. I saved 9 of them from last summer, but now the company changed the dimensions. Sam’s club “Siete” chip boxes work well for my other items (dvds and books) because they are wide and short, so I can see most things without pulling the box off of the shelf. I also trim the flaps so that I can easily slide the items in and out of the box without it getting stuck. Thanks again for your honest videos.
I gave mine each a $25 Visa gift card and some Milano cookies around the holidays to thank them for everything they do. Smiles from ear to ear from the both of them!
Can’t wait for the store tour! Great space love the wood beams. The inventory in your home comment really hits home for me. Photographing in one space, inventory in another, shipping in another. 😅

Fantastic video!! This mirrors my own journey so closely. You are just a step or two ahead of me :). Thanks for being so detail oriented in your explanations.
Chris I would love to be able to go and see the place. You truly are in example of progress daily. Continue and thank you for everything that you do for this community of resellers
Thanks you 2 for all the videos. I’d play your videos in the morning or while listing and it gets me in a groove. I’ll keep learning and like you say, make progress daily!
Was watching some amazon university videos and this popped on side and i saw you and totally got caught by the click bait title thinking you quit i had to know what happened. Glad to see you have not and are still growing. I found this video helpful even as amazon seller. Specifically the details about the storage unit.
I've been living with my inventory all over the house. I'm moving to a bigger house and I will have space for my inventory separate from my house. I'm so excited
Congratulations Chris 😁 You and tech have been inspirational to me. Seeing you being able to upgrade this big show me I can truly have a store one day if I keep up the hard work and regimen you have taught me, and more-less everyone that has been following you. Once again congrats!
Still remember watching you back in 2017 showing a bar tap thing you got at a garage sale while having a PBR ❤ this is so exciting mate. Thanks for everything
Wow I just started watching you I have so much I have been trying to sell for years I have four storages and no selling but I learn so much I do not know how I found you thanks I had give up
Chris, I learned so much from you! I am sad that you are shutting down. However, at the same very happy for you and your wife. I wish you and your wife the best of luck in your new ventures.
When I started my ebay out of my apartment I was only moving small items. Knives, lighters, baseball cards things like that. Then it evolved when my girlfriend moved in with me. She has a great eye for ceramics and glass. In between all of it I got a taste of dropshipping. We have a storage unit at which I have decided to liquidate this summer. After that I'm either going back to dropshipping or to my original rule of selling which is selling nothing breakable and nothing bigger than my hand.
As a part time reseller myself I pride many of my beliefs based on the ideologies Chris has. I'm not profiting $165k a year but I did profit about $50k with 5 consecutive years of growth. Luckily I own a 5 bedroom house where I live alone so that alleviates many of the expenses Chris has. I never would have thought any of this was possible or worth it 6 years ago.
Thats awesome, I want to get into it but I'm worried about shipping for heavy/big items cost so much it takes alot of the profit so I guess you got to focus on small items.. is that what you do?
@@ChrisBcards I ship ANYTHING that can make me money. If it's bigger it has to be worth my time and effort to ship because of additional packaging and materials. I've shipped vintage typewriters, old springy Wonder Horses with the frame, and even marble chess sets. My main bread and butter is clothing and shoes but my motto is to not ever get discouraged by the size, only get discouraged by the profit potential. And if you do ship heavy or odd sized items make sure you ship via a cheaper service like UPS Ground. I see too many times people ship 20 pound items via USPS Priority Mail that costs them $50. Be smart and charge your buyer accordingly. Hope this helps!
