Dear Nikola, ;-)) This is, by far, the best video that was ever made of *Mozaik* in action! (You always seem to have so much fun!...) Very well done, and I hope it goes viral on UA-cam! ;-D As Andy himself said in his comment below: I wish and hope that Mozaik will have many more tours before too long! With kindest regards; Patrick. ;-))
WOW....thanks for this Nikola, this was my first year missing Mozaik and the video gives me an appreciation of what it was like. Would love to see a full length video/documentry and comments from the band....you guys are my all time favourite band.....remembering seeing ye the first night in Carrick On Bannow in Co Wexford....thanks for all the great music since
More great stuff from Andy's 70th Birthday Bash. Repeat tracks some may be, but always a little different. Great to hear and with a DVD... even greater to actually see. Andy is a joy to watch at his amazing amount of Gigs... in his own words, "how the F*** does he do it?" He may make mistakes, but with with the rest of his brilliant troupe he never misses a note. HIS and THEIR music will be played at my Funeral.
Just realised, Rens was in the band - Fungus who used to play in a youth club in Leeuwarden, (Biels I think)Friesland in 1974/5, I think it may have been regularly, as I still remember Rens and the song Kaap’ren Varen really well. I used to bake bread in quantity and sell some of it there on a friday night, delivered by tandem and trailer. At that time I lived in St Anna Parochie but back in the UK now. Crikey small world.
and Nikola Parov's, and Bruce Molsky's, and Rens van der Zalm's Mozaik! It's a wonderful band, Nikola, and is worthy company to Planxty, Patrick Street and Moving Hearts--and with a more international flavor. 'o)
How clever you are, Nikola! Really brilliant film of wonderful tour with the best of people!! That we should have many more. Lots of love, Andy
It doesn't get any better than this. The musical pinnacle.

2004 andy talked about the childish look on willie clancy’s face as he played (pipes).
Same sort of thing here from andy himself..
