    Thank you for this beautiful dance! Graceful and supple as usually. I think that I recognised the dance motions which symbolize pouring and drinking sake.

      有り難うございます。嬉しいです。
      この唄の特徴は、歌詞に「掛け詞」(かけことば)と言うのが沢山使われている事です。一つの言葉に、同じ発音の違う意味の言葉をダブらせて使う技法です。これが次々と出て来て唄の楽しい世界へと導いていきます。曲のテンポの良さが加わり全体を盛り上げていきます。

      A feature of this song is that the lyrics make extensive use of what are called "kakekotoba" (double words). This is a technique in which one word is used in combination with words that have the same pronunciation but different meaning. These come out one after another, leading you into the fun world of the song (words). The good tempo of the song also adds to the excitement of the whole song.

      ​Thank you very much for giving details! "Kakekotoba" sounds like a challenge for a poet and a joy for a listener, but I can imagine how difficult it will be for a translator, who will try translate it into other languages. This play of words will be probably impossible to imitate in another language.
