Don't know why but this video made me so proud to be European. Don't get me wrong I'm sure the US is lovely but it's so nice to be able to catch a flight and in under two, three hours you're in Greece, Italy, Croatia, Finland, France, Portugal, Scotland, Ireland etc...

Oh, yes! I love that! I'm from Greece, and every year we visit Belgium (I have relatives who live there) and then drive around to different countries: Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland, France... And from Brussels it just takes a 2-hour ride on the Eurostar and you find yourself in the UK!

WFYD Only a few. Split, Zagreb and Dubrovnik but will be visiting Hvar and Rijeka briefly later in the year during a cruise.
You should visit Brela near the city of Makarska. It has like the most beautiful beaches in Europe.

a bili smo jednom jedna država , tako da nije to niš čudno
pa dobro i da jesu, ali ja sam samo mislila na područje Ex-Yu, da to nije ništa čudno što su naši slatkiši tamo...također imamo mi i našim dućanima srpskih slatkiša itd.
Ja sam ti živjela u Njemačkoj i da ti budem iskrena u normalnim dućanima ja naše stvari nisam nikad vidjela. Vegetu se moglo kod Turčina kupiti ili kod nekog našeg i također slatkiše samo kod naših.
Doduše živim zadnjih 10 god u Hrvatskoj pa nemam pojma jel se nešto promijenilo.
Ali nek se prodaje i izvan našeg područja.
Tutorijali tj ja zivim u Zagrebu i nisam probala pola tih slatkisa

The Č in Čoksa is pronounced as the English "ch" so it would be Choksa which is also a croatian slang for chocolate. All of the letters with little V's on top ate pronounced as their English equivalents š=sh č&ć=ch. Kraš would be Krash and so on 😁❤️

Daify middle eastern sweets suck. It's basically different variations of the same shit that has varying degrees of rose water flavor in it. The only worse sweets might be Mexican ones that are not derived from other countries.

I am very happy to hear you liked our sweets. Usually when I watch these videos, people don't really enjoy our candy because it's different from what they are used to. But you were very objective and actually described the flavors and textures very well. I guess it's just individual preferance and taste.

There are two manufacturers of sweet in Croatia: Kraš and Kandit. Kandit sweets are similar in quality, but they have something Kraš doesn't have: very original candy bars, many different types, unlike anything in the US.
CAndy manufactures in Croatia, wich produce and chocolates, candies, cookies from 18 -19 century, are: KRAŠ, ZVEČEVO, KOESTLIN, KANDIT, . Thiis 4 are the biggest and one of the most qoakity chocolate factories in Europe! Also, the oldest factories in Europe

Hahaha it's not "coksa" it's Čoksa. Č is pronounced like Ch in Chocolate.
Čoksa sounds like a silly nickname for čokolada (croatian for chocolate)
Životinjsko carstvo (eng. Animal empire) used to be kind of colouring book encyclopedia. It had lots of interesting facts about all kinds of animals. I haven't bought an album since they ruined it with new mascots and quite a few inaccurate information, but the way it used to work is that the last page of the album is for the numbered triangles. If you collected them all you would mail that page to Kraš and get a gift package. Not sure if they still do it.
They do but I have a very old album that I still havent filled it out and I just threw it away.I cant be bothered to spend so much money on the chocolate just to collect the pictures lmao

As a Croatian myself, I am just now seeing this video and I can’t help myself but to comment this; the way you describe taste is very much true and I wouldn’t describe these sweets better myself. As someone who ate these sweets basically since I was born, I believe I got kinda used to them and I am very glad to see someone neutral in that spectre try these and give their opinion! Also, I appreciate how you were very respectful even towards ones who you didn’t like! And you were true about Životinjsko carstvo, those are chocolates mostly for kids to eat and they collect those stickers in an album and then, when they collect all of the stickers, they can win a prize!I am in a way sad because you tried just a portion of famous and delicious Croatian sweets, and I hope you will someday be able to try the other ones aswell! Also, Kraš is in my opinion the most trusted brand and very true to its tradition, so I am super glad mr. M sent you Kraš sweets to try! They are also the most famous of all I would say! Also, some sweets I reccomend are Bajadera, Domaćica and Smoki!I am very glad you tried these sweets and liked them, sending love and greetings from Dubrovnik! 🥰
