Fire Updates Across the Valley

Last night just before 4 a.m., a fire broke out in Moxee.
It was near the intersection of Postma Road and Beane Road.
The fire was about 150 feet from one resident.
Emergency crews were evacuating some nearby houses.
Fortunately, after about an hour, fire crews had it under control.
With the scorching temperatures and dry conditions expected to stay around. Kittitas County Sheriff's Office and Fire Marshal announced an extension on the current burn ban.
