ONLY OUR BOAT ON THE THISTLEGORM! - beautiful day, - sunshine, a light breeze and the pastel colours of the Sinai in the distance. It makes me sad to think of the contrast between the peace and tranquility here and what is currently happening in some other parts of Egypt.

Used to look at these wrecks in national geographic magazines from the 60's and 70's

I pulled the Canon movs into FCP7, did some cuts and cross fades, added some sound files that came bundled with FCP and exported to Apple ProRes (HQ). This I then compressed and converted it to mpeg4 using a standard Soenson Squeeze preset "768Kbps_360p. After I returned back to Europe I wanted to add an HD version, but was not able to do this in UA-cam so I had to uploaded this complete second HD version of the same video, this time including HD options.
