@@JustasG Thank you so much for your offer to help! 🤗 I will certainly take you up on that and share my questions with you. It is hot in U.S. ☀🇺🇸. Stay safe! 😌🙏
Namaskaram. With backpain be careful, avoid dinamic hatha yoga as Angamardana and Surya Shakti, if backpain is very severe then skip all hatha yoga practices. Best talk with doctor and ask can you do practices or no. You need to find the cause of backpain. For thoughts do pranayama Nadi Shuddhi and Aum chanting :) let me know later about your backpain, is it going better :)
Angamardhana is more complex practice, means more different movements so more different parts of the body is trained 😊 but Surya shakti can be used if very limited time, also it helps more to build hands and shoulders and spine by bending backward more than in Angamardhana 😊 so I am doing both practices 😊
I have shoulder issues that I think are coming from a pinched nerve. Sometimes it makes me have to be more careful while doing surya kriya. I am doing bhuta Shuddi, upa yoga, surya kriya around 18 minntes a cycle doing three cycles, 6 round of surya shakti, shakti chalana kriya, achala arpanam, shambhavi and shooya every day. I am interested in yogasanas. I think I am ready and it could help my shoulder.
Namaskaram @JustasGee Thank you for providing the useful information. In the video, it is advised to do yoga namaskaram with light stomach, but is it alright to on empty stomach after waking up? Also, my breath is generally shallow, what does this mean? Should i try to stretch my breath when doing Naadi sudhi? Please clarify. 🙏🙏🙏
Shallow breathing can be because of very good health if you feel good with this breathing, or it can be lack of health if you are uncomfortable with shallow breathing :)
Namaskaram 🙏 you should start with Upa-Yoga (half of it is available on UA-cam) and Surya kriya. Also Isha Kriya meditation and Simha Kriya, both are on UA-cam on Sadhguru channel. Also check Sadhguru videos and articles about diet and try recipes from Sadhguru recipe book. I would recommend also to check my wife's ayurveda doctor Sri Nagi youtube channel, she is also Isha Hatha Yoga teacher, you will find lots of information about weakness
Which practices are best for students for better attention and long sitting hours I'm doing Surya kriya and sambhavi but still I feel I lack focus and get distracted easily Please help 🙏 Namaskaram
You mentioned that you would give the priority of the practices at the end of the video, but I didn't catch it if you did so. What is the priority you should use if you're low on time in a particular day?
Sorry for late respond, for some reason comments were not available. If you are lack in time then best to mkst important practices, which is meditations, like Shambhavi, if more time then shakti chalana. If little more time then add Surya kriya 😊 my minimum practices are bhuta shuddhi, surya kriya and shakti chalana. If some of these I am not able to do in the morning, then I do these practices during the day so that to do minimum day's practices 😊
Namaskaram, you should consult with the doctor showing him/her the demonstration of the Angamardhana, there are videos on UA-cam, then doctor will tell can you do everything, or should you skip something or whole practice is not good for you for now, need to wait till some healing will happen 😊🙏
Hi! Thanks for your explanation! I've been doing Shambhavi for 6months now and I want to start Hatha Yoga practices. You said that people with mental desimbalance should start with other practices first, are you talking about shambhavi or some other? (I feel much better after 6 months of shambhavi but i still feel a lot of mental disturbance. is that ok to start a Hatha Yoga practice now or should I wait or do something else first? I also saw that you speak portuguese in the comments, do you teach in Brazil? I've been trying to find a brazilian Isha Hatha Yoga teacher but i still did not, the closest i found is Peru and Colombia :)
Namaskaram Alice, great to hear from you 😊 with mental disturbances you should avoid meditations like chit shakti, Isha kriya and other practices called meditations. About Shambhavi ask your Shambhavi teacher. Hatha Yoga is not a meditation so you can do it, it is recommended, also pranayama is very helpful in mental disbalances 😊 try Nadi Shuddhi and Upa Yoga, also some other Hatha Yoga practices like Angamardana, Surya Shakti 😊
As it is condition frim hormonal imbalance in reproductive organ, best is yogasanas. Generaly for weight reduction best bhuta shuddhi, surya shakti, chit shakti for health, angamardhana, yogasanas and nadi shuddhi. Till you will have pcos good also surya kriya along with bhuta shudhi, upa-yoga, yogasanas, nadi shuddhi and aum chanting 😊🙏
Namaskaram Justas, i have issue with my body feeling tired and lethargic. Before a week i completed my surya kriya and its lately helping me a lot to feel active but do you think surya kriya is enough for physical fitness and to make my body feel lighter on a long run or should i also add angamardana.? Thankyou👏🏻
Namaskaram 😊🙏 better to learn all practices so that to work on all aspects. If time is limited, then one day Upa-Yoga with Yogasanas and another day Angamardhana with Surya Kriya, this would be best. Or adjust all practices the way they can fit your lifestyle and timings 😊 priority is for Yogasanas and then Surya Kriya, then Angamardhana and then Upa-Yoga
Me myself I am underweight, but doing Angamardhana. Not only Angamardhana I am doing, but also trying every day to do 108 cycles of Surya Shakti, for now every day body is not capable 108 cycles, only 20-60, but weight is not going down 😊 you need to find the reason for weight loss. Is it some disease or just not enough nutritious food or too much thinking or stress or something else 😊 try Angamardhana, if weight will start going more down, then try to figure the main reason for weight loss because already without Angamardhana something makes body loss. Maybe Angamardhana will fix the problem, it is also possible so best is to try 😊🙏 Surya Kriya would be very good as it is less dinamic 😊
Hi @Justas , Thanks for making a video on the sequence of practices to be followed. I want to get trained on Angamardhana. Is there a way to have it taught online ?
Hello, great to hear 😊 unfortunetly, Angamardhana can't be taught online as it is very complex practice 😐 so please find a teacher near you from Isha website teacher finder 😊
Hello 🙏🏻, How do you do all the Isha practices (upa yoga, angamardhana, surya kriya, yoga asanas, Shambhavi kriya,etc..)in day. I heard most people do all of them everyday,is it good to do all of them everyday,if so in what order, don't they get fatigue, exausted? Or is it good to just hold on to just one practice?
Hello, Naveen. The way you wrote the sequence it is correct. You can also do some practices in the morning and rest of practices in the evening, but best everything at once. If you are getting too much tired in the beggining is normal, but if lasts too long then need to check health, diet, otherwise yogic practices should give you more energy, but if you are sick, then need to reduce some practices 😉
Namaskaram Abhishek. Sorry for very late respond, comments where not avaiable for some reason. How are you? Are you feeling better? In case of OCD we need to see how much uncontrolled it is. In your case is it only mind uncontrolled or also body?

Namaskaram, I read somewhere that it is best to have emptied your bowels or have clean bowels before doing yoga since this will reap the maximum benefit . Then again food takes 18-24 hours to digest unless on a total fruit diet. How is it possible to have empty the bowels when I eat 2 meals a day ? especially very early in the morning before sunrise? . Thanks
Namaskaram 😊 I spoke little bit about it in yogic lifestyle video. But this specific thing I not mentioned. I will make a video about it in more details as it needs little bit more words to explain this 😊 thank you for question 😊 I will try to answer today 😊
This is fantastic, thing is that certain practices start working to people at different times, so best to keep doing and try to incorporate some other practices. It is also would be good if you could recognise what limitations do you have, for example body is not flexibile or weak, is mind calm or depressed. For people with big mental imbalance we even don't recomend Isha kriya, first we recomend to balance the mind with Nadi Shuddhi and Upa-Yoga. So best that you recognise what limitations do you have and work more towards those limitations, which might is stopping you to become medatitive 🙏😊
@@udittatisar5336 I'm not a teacher or anything, but for whatever it's worth, I found that doing the following 3 things made Isha Kriya more potent for myself: 1) Before doing it I remind myself that I will die and this may be my last time to do the practice. 2) I try to see the breath itself instead of the sensations of the breath (giving it as much attention as I can possibly muster). 3) I try to use a focus on "who am I" while doing the practice.
