He's back everyone. No need to release the hounds lol
Ah hell. Release 'em anyway!
Looks great! Just a side note everyone…find some one who cares for you the way The Samurai does his chisel edges!❤
incredible work
Glad your back ! thanks
The new & improved foldable blow mould roubo bench available at your local Princess Auto. 🤭
Add a bit of steel wool in the hole you are plugging and then spray the foam. The little buggers will not like chewing through the steel wool embedded in the foam.
An outdoor work bench would be awesome, cedar stumps as legs
I gotta admit, I do believe this is the first video I’ve seen where the entire video was really one long commercial for LaPage. But as only you can do, you made an awesome shelf where you needed an adhesive and LaPage was there! Not only that, but you just happened to have that sign which required the same adhesive as the shelf and, that pesky mouse got into the tent which happened to make you think of using expanding foam that you happened to have! Brilliant my friend, simply brilliant!
Your comment is stupid. No crap it’s sponsored. But He builds and does random projects all the time. Just cause he got a sponsor for some glue for once shouldn’t make it seem like the entire video was only for glue.
Brilliantly full of crap.
The craftsman continues! love seeing purpleheart be used at your cabin, Jesse.
Loving the irony of an annoyingly crooked "Solace"-sign =) Great work with the cabin!
Something I've learned from watching your work is that with just a little extra effort, you can find a way to make all those plain 90 degree corners way more interesting by adding some curves.
Need to give us a run down Jess on what the actual plans are for the property and what you plan on doing, where things are going and time frames
Love the work keep it up
That purple heart wood is gorgeous.
Beautiful scenery, great piece of property!
I’m thinking an upgrade in your work holding might be a great addition to your off grid woodworking experience.
a Black an Decker 'workmate' or I believe Bosch do something similar - change your life for mobile working like this :). However I see a custom build coming up ??? as they are to lightweight for hand planing and have their limitations
Nice job on the shelf. Love that purple heart. Good to see you back at the cabin. All the best to you and yours.
That is lovely, nice craftsmanship as usual.
Awesome shelf. Like the design. Plus you make it look so simple. I feel like I could pull it off, but that would push my limits on fit and finish.
I bet you never appreciated a vise more than while building this project. Well done!
Samurai is back. Hell yeah. Hope the move went smooth.
Love the new workbench.
Seeing that Purple Heart really reminded me of Leo from the Sampson Boat company another incredible craftsman
The views are amazing. Must feel great crafting out there.
It's been 84 years...
Well done Jesse, Really enjoyed watching this video !
Mr Lepage was my mum's first boss when she started working in the 60's, she had his wife as a teacher in primary school, this was in France btw hahaha,
Love the Canadians, Tabernacle!!!!
good to see the lake again
You make it all look so easy! All the best from Ireland!
This is a nice shelf although I am more impressed with the mounting points, nice job.
Always enjoy these videos
Perfect timing on the sale of your house. 💯
Well. That is a whole new level of hand plaining.
Nice work !!!
Under those conditions, it might be easier to push the wood and pull the plane.
Thanks for the content boys. Would love to see a custom piece done for the neighbors that have helped you so much. That would be a neat video.
what have the neighbors done besides make him move his dock?
@@andrewneuroth5342 I recall multiple occasions where they lent him equipment and manpower. Idk maybe they’re bums but they seem portrayed as helpful people.
Gooood afternoon from central Florida! Hope everyone has a great day!
Thankyou
The shelf is really beautiful. I also like the way it was installed. That is something different.
The band saw you used, what kind is it?
Although that lake side view is nice, its gonna be windy af come winter time with nothing to break it
Wish Jesse didn’t have to do these ads. You can tell he hates it but I guess it pays the bills. Hopefully we’ll be back to pure woodworking soon enough! I’m here for the ride on this off grid journey.
You need to build yourself a little Roman work bench…. Something you can easily move about for your hand tool work… bonus is a place to sit while you do it.
ngl, 30s to 37s was surreal
Nice
How about a DIY workbench, Jesse... with a vice... might come in handy 👍Blessings 🙏
Hope things are getting back to normal after the move. That is a whole different take on a split top workbench. Not sure if it will catch on>😁
Nice!
Amazing views
Great shelf. The contest is for Canada only...Bummer.
Great video can you tell me what sort of bandsaw you were using please
Nice work, as always. What does a piece of purple heart like that go for?
Nice work! I wish I could find Lepage products here in Australia but it looks like it's only available in Canada and the USA.
Hey Jesse nice job again can you please tell me where i can get some of those white scotch brite pads. there are not as easy as i thought to find
LeSellout.... but one have to make a living..... :P
Nice video. When are you starting to build your new home?
What handy dandy portable bandsaw is that?
So sorry you have to work in such repulsive settings...🤣 Beautiful work!
Hey, if LePage gets you uploading videos again, I'm all for it. ;-)
I don’t know in canada, but in europe mouse eat trough insulation. But great job👍
Great project Jesse and I really love Purple Heart wood! 👍👍👏👏
So I’m in Victoria for the weekend for our anniversary and who do I see in II Terrazzo but Samurai Carpenter. Sorry we didn’t meet.
Very nice! Looks like a very expensive piece of wood.
Sign is crooked 😊
How do you not have a sawhorse workbench out there yet?
how cold is the water?
Mice chew through spray foam! If you want to stop them mix in some steel wool. They hate that.
Don't you miss the workshop? A vice would be nice.
Samurais don’t use glue
A man near a cabin with no vices!
what the brand of this portable saw u using at 71.8 ?? looks super handy!
He's a Ryobi guy.
you've probably been asked this a thousand times but when are you gonna do the cladding on the cabin?
Hey samurai! you'll need a rocket stove pizza oven.
Damn Jesse, you really need the money, don’t you?
That bandsaw is a badass little tool. Who makes that?
Mafell z5
Mafell, they made it from magnesium so its ultra-lightweight. great for putting scroll work on large timbers.
Lol awesome, If I ever have an extra few grand in my pocket I might get one
Does that lake freeze solid in the winter? I mean, can you drive on it (snow machines, etc.)?
its gotta be too close to the coast
From his videos last winter you can see it won’t freeze
Might what to have some steel wool on hand. Sometimes rodents will eat the foam.
First click PLAY. Immediately click 👍🏼
About time!!!!
Use steel wool to plug holes that rodents may access
I like how the "Solace" sign irritates you.
that foam wont work, mice and rats will chew though it, youll need something more robust like plaster, cement or wood filler
And the siding still isn’t complete 😂

Unfortunately, I do not qualify for the LePage give away: "Must be age of majority or older."
How do I know if I am at the age of 'majority' or not...?
Too bad, their products look so promising....
I think its still crooked.
