- The plaintiff was best friends with the defendant, but they went their separate paths after the plaintiff had a baby at 16. She let her sister borrow her iPod, but the sister left it at the defendant’s sister’s house. The plaintiff says the defendant promised to return the iPod, but then she lost it, so she’s suing for unreturned property. The defendant thinks the plaintiff’s sister should pay for the iPod because she’s the one who left it.
