Thank you for Part 2, the sunflowers are so pretty! All the different yet complimentary colors you used, and shaping them, really brings them to life. Your dear friend Angelina will absolutely treasure the card you handmade for her. The three sunflowers were quite striking. I'm looking forward to your spring blossoms video, I will give the Apple Harvest stamps and dies a whirl for that one.
Hello B. I'm so sorry I've been slow to respond. I've been involved in so many projects I only now have had time to come back to my messages. In fact when I first read your message, i went looking for Apple Harvest for myself. It's only just yesterday arrived in the mail. I'm so glad you enjoyed Sunflowers. I promise I'll get around to Spring Blossums and Apple Harvest. Thank you once again. M
Utterly in awe of your colouring of the sunflowers, I decided to purchase that same die set! I still have Celebrate Sunflowers from Stampin Up, but this sunflower die is stunning. And yes, I can picture them as daisies too! I love how you used your ink pad, blends and your watercolour pencils to give them such depth. Sponge Daubers - Friends of mine use a little lingerie bag for their daubers and shammy and pop it in the wash machine. They say it works fantastic. The only reason I have not tried that method myself is because I have a dauber for each SU colour. I used to wash them with Dove dish soap and warm water and like yourself, use my hand as an agitator, swooshing them around in the sink and rubbing them against my palm to clean them. But then I got lazy, hence the case of daubers!
Oh, thank you for tak8ng the time to share your thoughts and suggestions. I've adopted the laundry bag zipped up and placed into the machine. It works very well. A natural look is what I strive for with all my elements, and I am pleased when it's noticed. Thank you so much.
So glad to see part 2 so quickly! It is amazing watching the creative process of a true artist! Thank you for sharing your talent!
Wow. I'm truly flattered. Thank you.
