It’s very possible that for the new tank farm for second tower is much more compacted. The old tank farm has decommissioned vertical tanks, small hot dog tanks and large hot dog tanks. In the new farm they might have an all new design that’s more compact and better. This then begs the question us if this is true and once second launch area is built, would they demolish the old farm and rebuild it to mirror the second tank farm

Why not put the new tank farm just outside the gateway to mars wall. Will already have a protective barrier between the launch tower and the tanks.
