Luke Faulkner absolutely. I’ve bought the sheet music, can’t wait to try it :)
In the midst of what's happening, it sounds so hopeful. I am encouraged by this Luke, thank you
Great work as always.
Thank you for your contribution to my life, it helps in so many ways.
I was listening to Chopin, and I discovered you. Really, it is wonderful when you are playing the piano.
My best wishes for you.
When I lost my beloved wife in 2017, your music has soothed me many times. Today I found your YT channel and thank you and the devine for the grace, harmony and love you express in your music. It saved my sprit and soul. Now I can finally say: THANK YOU!
Alone in an ocean
Tossed to and fro,
In an ocean of strangers,
people so close yet so far.
divided they are,
broken and isolated,
going with the tide.
To look and see,
but recognize non!
Where do friends go?
Alone in the deep blue,
I fear I can not see through!
troubled times, wash me free,
And let me travel through this stormy sea.
Yet may we search,
and one day find,
a serene painting.
Where isolation is no more found,
and fractured beings may rebound.
By Jeremy C. S. Brobbel
Beautiful poem, Jeremy!
I really like it I did read it from the bottom up, and I got a bit disappointed when I saw the first paragraph, I feel it would have been better without it saying explicitely that it is an ocean of people.
Your poem doesn't need it, we understand already, you need to leave more space for our minds to look into the unknown.
I hope it makes sense,
PS : I still took a screenshot
Best regards
I love all of your compositions, but this one hits home. I really felt every bit of this piece, thank you.
Thanks for saying so!
Thank you Luke Faulkner ... 🌌😌🎵🎶
Beautiful; love the art too.
Thank you, Mikel!
Profoundly beautiful Luke. There's nostalgia, whimsy, melancholy. It has it all, so perfectly balanced and presented in this wonderful performance! It's really really lovely 😊❤️❤️
I'm really glad you enjoyed it, Lauriejeanne, and thanks for your kind words! 😊
you play the piano with your soul
Every pianist does that.
Very relaxing piano composition Luke. Emotional and tender. Thanks for sharing
Thanks for saying so, Michael! Hope you're keeping well :)
Well, you had me in tears with this one, it's beautiful...Already one of my favourites, together with Swan Song :) Thank you for sharing it. Hope you're well
Thank you, Daniela! I'm very well thank you - arm already much better. Hope you're well too :)
Good to know that :) I am, thank you! ☺
It's like an intensive care to my mind, to can live better in our caotic world. Thank you!
Thank you, Robsandro - I'm happy my music helps :)
This reminds me of a movie reel of ones life, slowly reaching the climax and eventually running out of time. Even though the movie is over the memories live on. You can feel the sorrow in the ending of this piece. Thank you Luke, I am new to your music but truly am inspired and at a lose of words to what you can accomplish. Keep producing and inspiring people like me.
Beautiful! Greetings from Brazil 🇧🇷
Thank you, André!
Thanks Luke! Your piano playing is wonderful, light, airy, soft, elegant-English, romantic. He who creates beauty can, I think, have a beautiful soul. It's a pleasure to listen to your creations!
Thank you for your lovely message, Ágnes!
Please, never stop composing music! You are wonderful! Thank you so much for creating such masterpieces!
Thank you for saying so, Andreea :)
This has become your favourite place huh 😁.
Always like this reminder 😅.
This Calm Piano is a very pleasant composition. Seeing this great Artwork, it is necessary to realize once again how big the universe is, how small our planet is and how small we humans are. Congratulations Luke! 👏🙂
Thanks for saying so! I was really pleased with how the artwork turned out - Lana is really brining my music to life :)
I love it and the video is perfectly done ❤💙
Glad you enjoyed it!
I really needed this piece now, so I could close my eyes a little and rest. So many terrible things happening, and I've been involving myself more than ever to try to make things better. I wish I could turn away, and ignore it all, but I will not do that when there are others who suffer every day and do not have the same luxury. But thank you, for the brief respite.
Bless you, Cindy - I'm glad my music could provide some respite.
Such depth of feeling in this. Love your compositions Luke
Thank you, Kathryn! Hope you're well.
This piece and Reflections are my absolute favorites!
You have captured it all so perfectly, both the joy and the pain. This gave me goosebumps. Thank you 🤍
Glad you enjoyed it, Beth!
I was meditating while driving back home on " piano with sound of waves on background" when I received your video.. I switched immediately & OMG 🙏" Magnifique Luke!!!!".. I LOVE it & I thank SO MUCH for this great day ending thanks to your elegant and beautiful feelings 🌺
Aww, that's really sweet Sonia! Really glad you enjoyed it :)

🌺 Thank you Luke!! Bravo!!! PLZ keep touch..
Is this the French section of the comments?
@@tamalyncervin2117
Not really Tamalyn!!! It's not a francophone area 😄 even if I'm French-speaking. But Luke is universal so.. 😉 Thank you so much for sharing!!!
sonia hachemi - Hello Sonia! I was wondering because of your style of speaking and your spelling! I never took a French class but I have studied Spanish and accents are so much fun! Also my dad is a linguist so that's helpful! Just wondering, what country are you from? I'm American if that wasn't obvious :)
You have obviously put much time and energy into this piece. The result is most pleasing.
Hello Danie - I just logged in to reply to your longer message and cannot find it! Anyhow, it was a lovely read (I read it a few days ago but am quite slow at replying these days as I'm currently on a bit of a writing binge - sorry about that). Thanks as always for your kind words 😊
Thank you so much for sharing your art with us 👏👏👏
Thanks for listening!
This is a masterpiece! Thank you for the inspiration. Probably the best piece from you that I've listened. So much emotion and beauty in a few minutes. The attention to detail and simplicity in the last minute is so good!
Thank you, Daniel - I was particularly happy with this one. Glad you enjoyed it :)

Luke Faulkner, forgive me, I have been listening to the compilation on here called 'music for reading' then found my favourites on there were yours!... I assumed your music must have been a timeless classic from one of the famous composers of olden times, yet have found your a young Shropshire born man, you are amazing.... and i love your music especially 'springtime' xxx
Haha, I am indeed alive and well (and from Shropshire!) Really glad you're enjoying my music! :)
@@LukeFaulkner thanks for the reply... and keep up the good work. It's beautiful xx
I love all your melodies, greetings from Colombia!
Thank you, Veronica!
Really adore the flow in this piano, it is so elegant and calmingly beautiful.
Thank you, Solas!
Awesome work Luke! very pleasant to listen :)
Thanks, buddy! So great to see you here :)
(If anyone is reading this I'd recommend checking out Stanislav's work - his piano playing is phenomenal!)
This is supremely special and beautiful! ♥️ Thank you, Luke.
Thank you for saying so, Oveeya!
You are writing great music! And I love the way you often use videos to go with the atmosphere of your pieces. I'll have to think about doing something similar for my own compositions 🎹🎹
Thanks for saying so, Wolfgang!
Beautiful and elegantly done Luke. Truly a remarkable job. A poignant piece of music for sure.
I absolutely loved those chords at the end. Hauntingly beautiful
Thanks as always Calib! I was particularly happy with how this one turned out. Hope you're well buddy!
@@LukeFaulkner
Definitely! How is your arm doing? Are you recovering well?
@@MiloPaulus It's getting there - hopefully better in another 3-4 weeks or so. Thanks for asking :)
@@LukeFaulkner
That is good to hear!
I didn't know of your music when you first released this piece. Since then I listen to it often as I am doing now, standing at my kitchen counter writing all this on my laptop. It is a very touching piece and coincidentally I am writing a bitter sweet tale of three people traumatized by a catastrophic event that they each experienced. I have Life and Loss playing in the background, because it helps me sense the characters I'm writing about and keeps me in check when I am in danger of going overboard with the tragedy. 😊 Ros
아름다운 피아노 연주곡 잘 들었습니다~감사합니다~🎵🎹🌲🌳✨🌌🌿🍀☘🌹🌹☘🍀🌿❤❤

Incredible beautiful and mesmerizing melody, fell in love with
Heard this on my UA-cam Playlist...simply amazing 👏
Listening to this while coding.... outstanding piece of work!
Wao i'm speechless, this composition is so fresh, and soothing.... away from hustle. Well done 🙌🙌
Thanks, Elba :)
Très formidalble et touchante....
Merci Luke
Merci bien :)
Beautiful thankyou Luke 👏
This is a lovely piece and you've used dissonance to your advantage. The very last note sits balanced between finality and the desire for resolution; we could have kept that second to last note for the last of it, but you took it that step further, leaving the audience wondering why they wanted a defining end. And why they don't feel at ease or satisfied with what they received for the final note. I'm rambling a great deal and sleep deprived so please excuse me, I simply mean to say that this piece stays with people, clinging onto their minds and emotions for a little longer.
I think you put it perfectly - ending with a single note leaves things more open than having a full chord resolution. Thanks for your kind message!
Lovely piece!! 😊
Awesome ❤💙🙏🏽
I've listened to this so many times already. What heartfelt music, thank you man :)
Thank you for listening! :)
SO happy I found your music! So beautiful. Just sent Ballade to my son. You're amazing.
Words can't describe where Luke's music takes me.Its spiritual.
I put this on for my cat to listen and she maintained eye contact with me for a whole 2 minutes with the most curious look and I started crying. Those two minutes felt infinite. It was so beautiful. Thank you!
This is such a beautiful composition! Thanks for sharing with us

Thank you Luke! you is amazing.
I'm from Brazil, I just loved it!
Very beautiful! Congratulations 💕
Wonderful and so relaxing! ❤Thanks.
Love this song
I listened to this song while read a book series.. It was depressing and I would say this song describes all this love friendship and pain in these books. I’m very thankful for that. Even if o cry everytime when I listen to it. PS: The book Series is called: The Infernale Devices by Cassandra Clare
It sounds like one of those piano Ost's you would hear in a really sad anime
I'd really like to have a shot at writing music for anime.
@@LukeFaulkner if i'd actually hear one of your work in an anime i'd freak out ^_^
Anime is actually very easy to understand
Just collab with Kyle Landry and Yiruma and Simply Three
You basically watch TV and sit at a real piano and mute the TV.
Amazing
Underrated

Good timing of the "official release aka premiere" of your composition! Pianists know a thing or two about timing, right! Especially how to stall for time and keep the audience happy! Have you ever played an electric organ or better yet, a real pipe organ?
Oohh, funny you should mention it - I actually had a go at learning the pipe organ earlier this year. An incredible instrument!
Luke Faulkner - I agree! Any pianist can move into pretty much any area of music that they want to (have you heard of the relatively new field of "music therapy" as if music hasn't been used in therapy before 🙄) but anytime I can play an organ I bring all my classical books and practice Bach! It's so much fun, haha music nerd conversation! Also my cousin Luke Baker is a French horn professional (his channel is his name) and he's played at Carnegie Hall!
Just wondering, are you Anglican? Most Englishmen used to be but I know atheism swept across Europe years ago so I don't make any assumptions as to what ppl believe.
Hey there, dear Luke... eehm... ha ha ha. Internet is something really amazing is not it. A person from another country can talk to other. we progress quickly i guess. Dear Luke Faulkner i did enjoy your music so much. I did really struggle to let my emotions go flow, so sometimes it become unbearable to hold them inside. Bottling up emotions not something healthy, and definitely not something i did best for myself. Lately i found out that i just tired of this. A burden i carry everywhere I opened my feelings to the one i love, well it did not go well. she was a close friend of mine... but first time in my life i did not afraid of showing my emotions. I did not know what will happen. Will i lost her? will it hurt if i rejected? what would happen if she feels as same as me? well as i saw it was not the case. And it hurt a lot. But i felt free. Free of emotional burden. It still hurt sometimes. But when i dream about her, all pain goes away for some minutes. In the and i decided that: I will acccept the consequences whether my love wither with time or we lost touch with each other because of my feelings. Anyway, you helped me to drain off many of my emotions. It felt so good to cry over a music like this magical. I hope you doing also well. Thanks Luke, i hope one day i can met with you and thank you personally. take care. (Boran)

Thank you for another great music! Um.. I am currently a student who want to write music like you but can I ask you a question? Do you record these by yourself or do you use a program? If you use a program, can you tell me what it is..? If you don't, then thats fine.
Thank you! I record into Logic, but the piano is a real Steinway (I don't use samples). Hope that helps :)

🥰
Do I get bragging rights if I say I subscribed when you had 17k subscribers...? Your music is lovely and the screen looks very nice too. Btw still haven't gotten around to practicing your F minor American composition but it's in one of my stacks of printed music!
Haha, go for it! I always enjoy reading your comments, Tamalyn!
Luke Faulkner - It's super cool to have conversations with ppl across the globe! I literally have family I've never met (at least in my memory) because we're so spread out, so distance is very relative now. Whenever technology speeds up (as if tends to do annually) I always think, how did they do ________ before they had electricity? The ancients were much smarter than the moderns give them credit for! I did think of studying abroad in England for grad school but family first. I'm just practicing piano waiting for the world to get back to a normal normal.
