re: hearing loss and audiogram: I recently setup the Sound Customisation for my dad using his formal Audiogram from an Ear clinic. He had moderate to severe hearing loss affecting several frequencies. The difference with him listening to others talk (in a quiet environment) was astounding. He went from barely picking up 30% of the words in a sentence to repeating it with 100% accuracy. Truly astounding; an unexpected benefit for our family. It’s not perfect, but super impressive for a device at this price point where its primary function is not to improve hearing loss. If you know someone with hearing loss and they have a pair, I highly recommend you give it a try
The transparency mode is so good with these that I often find myself checking to make sure they are paired while sitting with my iPad becaue it sounds so realistic.
I've got about 110-115 days on mine and they're hands down the best wireless buds I've had. only 2 connectivity issues in this time and it was an easy fix just put the AirPod back in the case and take it back out lol and I can say I feel I get past your 30 hour mark on them still and I almost always have at least 1 in. I do miss the ear tips on my Bose soundsport but the change was well worth...
Good video/review. I drive 200 kilometers to work 5 days a week at 110 Kph. The AirPods Pro 2 do a great job of noise cancelling out the wind and road noise in my 2006 Mazda. It means i can listen to Podcasts and music at a lower volume and preserve my hearing. I can't imagine doing the drive everyday without them.
I upgraded to the Foam Masters foam tips. I squeeze them like using the orange foam earplugs when I insert into my ear and they swell up and have a nice tight fit inside my ear canal without being uncomfortable. They stay very secure
I use the loop. I loop it to one of my belt loops and the AirPods go in my pocket securely before I used to use a carabiner on a belt loop and they just use to swing around as I walked and I’ve lost AirPods that way with cases opening and then falling out. On the pro ones.
At first, I doubted Apple's claim of 2x more noise cancelling, but then reviews came out aand Istarted to maybe believe it, then I replaced my Pro 1 with Pro 2 and wow they weren't lying. Pro 1 is incredible at ANC, but Pro 2 is just another level. and with an app they work well just as well on my Android phone as my iphone and auto device switching works great and somehow works even if i'm switching to an apple device (either samsung to apple or apple to apple), and not the other way around
I use a lanyard. When I'm not using my iPad Pro and accessories (including AirPods Pro 2), they are in a waterproof TomToc shoulder bag with reinforced corners. I found the AirPods kept slipping out of the bag when I opened the accessories section. So I use a lanyard to link the case to a hole in an internal zip tag. No chance of losing them now.
Just got these yesterday, only issue for me mainly is comfort. The small eartips fit, but they're a bit uncomfortable, and the noise cancellation isn't too great with them. The medium weren't great either, but I might try them again. The battery life is also a bit weird, but I upgraded from the AirPods 2nd generation, so it's nice to have that extra hour, but I might need to get them checked at some point. Might have some battery issues. Sound quality is also amazing, sounds like I'm right there if I'm listening to music or watching a show. Anyways, nice video. Just tried out the small eartips. I was using the XS, my mistake. I notice the difference in noise cancellation, and comfort
If you are talking about the case battery life you can turn off find my network in the settings and it will fix that problem. Or just update the firmware of airpods and thats what fixed it for me. Goodluck
My AirPods Pro 2 sometimes gives a crackling noise in the middle of listening to music. It’s very subtle but noticeable and happens every 2/3 hours. Have you ever noticed it? Another problem is after listening to 2/3 hours, when I put the AirPods back to the case, I can see left & right battery level difference by 3-7%.
Good review. I have the original AirPod Pros and Bose QuietComforts. I agree, the Bose have the best noise cancellation. Apple is a close second. But when it comes to wind blowing over the earbuds, Apple does a much better job of it. I don’t know if it’s air blowing over or through the mics, but neither the Bose or Apple stops this noise with their noise cancellation apps. But theApple is substantially better about wind noise. Do you have any theories why this is, and do you have better recommendations for earbuds that block wind noise?
5:32 I do it for if I want to hear lyrics but also the surrounding area in a somewhat noisy area like walking near a road I can hear out one ear and the other I can only hear the music out of
I have first Gen airpods pro and ive been sleeping with them for over a year, I will say that its taken a toll on the airpods cause if im moving too much you can hear a squeak noise coming from the buds
Hi awesome video I'm not a Apple user but I'm so happy that you mentioned the battery drain. I've had my Huawei freebuds pro. For 2 years now and now getting better drain.
Right now I have the Airpdos 3rd gen, and I’ve been wanting the AirPods Pro 2 because the noise canceling and all of that, but not just that, I don’t know if it’s me but my ear holes I think there is one bigger than the other, and I think I might actually feel better with the AirPods Pro 2
Old vid, but I had to comment on my experience after having them for 1.5 years. They sounded great, but a firmware update completely removed all the bass and if you google you'll see it's a common issue people have. The only way to get it back was using an audiogram which gave amazing bass, but in iOS 17.4.1 they bugged audiograms and bass boosting no longer works. Such a pity and I hope they can fix it.
My pros are garbage at this point. The noise canceling doesn’t work anymore. Have to turn the volume down to a minimum to stop them from sounding like both speakers are broken. Didn’t even last a full year before they started giving me problems.
That’s what happened with the first version of the Apple Pro earbuds….. didn’t last a year….. Apple stated that they made a bad Bach and had a recall program for the…. I went to a website that showed my qualified….. I went to the Apple Store to get mine replaced for free but was told that mine didn’t qualify….. ended up spending 105 bucks on refurbished Apple Pro earbuds…… this will be my last pair if they go bad in the next year……
I would LOVE to see you do a video review of 3rd party tips for AirPods Pro 2 🙏 There are SOOOOO many to choose from and I really value your opinion and appreciate your EXCELLENT reviews. Foam Masters? Sonicfoam? Link Dream? Lanwow? Proof Labs? Comply? SpinFit? CharJen? I love AirPods Pro, but they just do not fit in my ear well, no matter which size tip I use from Apple. Please consider doing this video. Thank you 🙏 PS: I have many other earbuds with silicone tips. Some fit great, some not so great. What seems to be the factor for me is how deep in my ear they go. The deeper the better. If they are too short and the fit is too shallow, they always seem to push out or fall out. My most comfortable pair are a cheap $20 Jlab Go Air Pop I got just to use at the gym, but now they are my favorite earbuds above even my AirPods Pro 2 which cost $250! The only issue with the Jlabs are the mic is bad for phone calls. Other than that, these would be my ONLY earbuds and I'd be happy.
First, I have had my first gen AirPods Pro for 1 and a half year and they are still great. I can side sleep with one in and I like to use one ear ANC so I can pay attention to my music better when I only have on in.
The pairing with other apple products sucks hard. Especially dual-pairing. They are only connected to two devices, my brand new MacBook Air and iPhone 11. I have to manually switch between the two. And then the headphones unpair from them randomly multiple times a day. The only headphones period that I have with those two problems. I have $60 headphones that do the dual pair switching flawlessly like they can read my mind lol. But the sound on the APP2 is so good I can overlook it. The sound quality makes it dee like the person is standing in front of you and not on a screen if that makes sense.
I’m sorry to hear you’ve had a bad experience with the seamless switching. I’ve luckily never had this issue, and I use my AirPods between my phone, iPad, MacBook, and AppleTV on a daily basis. I’m sure there is probably some settings that you may have turned off, but I couldn’t think of any other reason they wouldn’t work
Yeah, swtching between macbook and iphone is trash, complete trash. Never works automatically when going to the macbook, unless i'm speaking on the phone then suddenly macbook is constantly stealing the audio, extremely frustrating. Switching between iphone and ipad works fine.
Have issue with one side of my airpods3. I always use left side wheras right side is always in the case. Aftr about 1-2weeks, the right side wont connect anymore. despite all troubleshooting methods i used: reset airpods, reset phone network, took out airpods and put back, cleaning the charging metal tip… any advice guys?
Could you explain seamless switching a bit? Is it multipoint, ie. will I be able to listen to music on my personal and automatically switch to a phone call on my work phone without doing anything? Do I need to do something?
Yep they’re the only buds that if can properly sleep on my side with! I had a review prepared I just never got to it. Maybe I will… thanks for reminding me 🤪
Great video. The biggest problem I have with the Airpods Pro 2 is that they rarely automatically connect to my AppleTV, usually the AppleTV doesn't find them, so i have to switch to settings and go through all the menus to be able to connect them manually. I would prefer if the Airpods connection was directly in the first menu and that's it. On the other hand I like how well they work with noise canceling although I have to "push" them often in my ear because they slip
I was kind of pissed off about the price when I bought these, but they are totally worth it after hearing them everything we talked about was spot on👍🏻
Hi there. I have the same issue where I would like an option for manual Eq to increase the bass. Is there anyway that we could give apple a feedback to provide the manual Eq via OTA update?
I had some issues with losing my Sony WF-1000XM4 buds and not being able to find them again, so I switched to AirPods Pro 2 instead. I do like the sound of the Sony buds, and felt like noise cancelling was better, but the ecosystem features and Find My, make up for it.
Let me share another detractor to the pros. I work in industry with metal and because of all the magnets in the case metal shavings stick to it and my case looks gross ! But I love my AirPods I’m addicted to them it would be hard to switch
Am I the only one whose AirPods Pro 2 continue charging inside the case when they’ve reached 100%? I already went to customer service and they said they weren’t really charging, but I’ve noticed them draining too much battery even with a 10-minute use. I still have warranty, should I try to replace them (Apple in Mexico isn’t that flexible that’s why I say “try”)
But they are right. They are constantly in a charger when you are not using them, and its impossible to turn that kind of thing off, only slow it down a lot. I’d be more worried if it says they aren’t charging, because then it would mean that the metal on the tips aren’t contacting the charger at all and won’t charge. I’m not sure what you consider “draining too much battery”, so if you could clarify, that would also help.
I have the same problem dude. I went twice to change it or répare it. It’s doesn’t change anything. How is it possible ? I think the first version is SO MUCH better in this case
I had the same issue, the case will drain slowly when the buds are not in use but it should only drain a couple of % a week. I test a lot of earbuds and some of my cases will still be over 70% charge even after a few months of not being used. Try and get the case replaced if possible. Also make sure the firmware and your phones software is up to date
Should i buy this now or wait for Airpods pro 3 which will definitely have the usb-c? Already have samsung buds pro, working great for me till now with my apple devices
I don’t see a pro 3 coming out for a while. Sound wise the buds pro are great. If you want slightly better anc/transparency and the apple ecosystem features than it would be worth getting
im considering them and the Sony 1000xm4. has anyone used both and can tell me which one i should choose when i mainly go to the gym and runing? i love listening to music most of the day so battery wins in Sony but what about sound and comfort? thank you!
Seamless switching is crap, when you have apple watch. Every time I go to the gym and I want to leave my iPhone in the locker, I need to turn it off (the phone), because if I somehow get with my air pods pro 2 + apple watch within it's range, it stops the music and disconnects the air pods from the AW. Super annoying. I've tried to discuss this issue with Apple's support, but the only thing they came up with was to unpair and pair again and/or restart the phone/AW (which didn't help). Turning off the iPhone has it's upside, as for the 13 pro there is a long-lasting bug, never fixed by Apple, where the slow motion wideos at 240fps start to jitter after 4-5 days of using the iPhone (some cache clotting?) so congrats Apple, for having such issues up in the b*tt.
I am getting brand new sony linkbud s for just over a $100. Should I buy airpods first gen or gen2 or linkbud s. Is airpod gen 2 worth spending a $150 more?
I never have a budge out problem, weird you have it and just happen to have a sponsor that fixes that issue 🤡 WHAT a coincidence LMFAO The mesh changes the audio tuning, so spinfit will sound worse
These are an improvement over the 1st gen buds. ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxK5mc3yw4xA7Mf2j6k6n1Uqv_KUgrKdeM Pros: The fit is fantastic. This is the biggest plus. They stay in my ears when running and become unnoticeable. They are tight but comfortable. The sound quality is about the same as the 1st gen buds. They pair more easily with my LG G8 ThinQ and immediately reconnect when removed from the case. The sound balance is excellent, good but not overpowering base and clean mid tones and highs.Cons: The noise cancellation is good but perhaps a little less effective than the Bose ANC on the 1st gen buds. Passthrough mode as not as good as the 1st gen buds making it a little more difficult to hear conversations when in passthrough.
I talked about the momentum 3 at some point. But for me AirPods Pro 2 and nothing ear 2 are my favourite balanced earbuds. Momentum 3 are slightly more bass heavy which I also like.
Someone please help me with a very specific situation I have with my AirPods Pro 1st gen: I have automatic switching set up on both, my M1 MacBook Air, and my iPhone 13 Pro, However, if play anything on my iPhone, the AirPods switch but vice versa when I play anything on my Mac, the AirPods do not switch to my Mac! I have Wifi and Bluetooth always turned on on both my devices and have logged in using the same Apple IDs too. I have reset my AirPods multiple times but the issue still remains. Any help on the matter would be highly appreciated if someone has experienced similar issues or can help me out. Thank you!
I hate my AirPods 3 so much they great when they work properly I use them every day and sometimes the left will not work for no reason at all and next day it’s perfectly fine I do all the tips i make sure no dirt is on contacts or inside the case and charge but the minute I take them out the case it will sho😢the right one at 100% and left at 2% or not even connected and then at the end of the day on way home I’ll put in my ears and everything is fine I use right earbud for mic so why is the left having the connection and charging issues I’ve reset them several times but still every other day i have that issue it’s so annoying I hate having to listen to music with right bud only it defeats the purpose of stereo sound
Are the Airpods Pro and Pro 2 good earbuds, yes. But are they worth $250, no. Especially since for me, they do not cover the 2 most important features in tws, the sound and especially the quality of the microphones in phone call in a noisy environment. Earfun Air S or JBL Live Pro 2 are better in these 2 areas and cost between $60-$100 🤷🏽♂️ Ps: Airpods clearly have the best transparency mode on the market, that's a fact, but personally I very rarely use my 2 earbuds at the same time when I'm in an environment that requires a minimum of my attention, and to talk to people, respect obliges, I always remove my earbuds.
Purchased mine for $199 on sale. They’re worth it, especially when compared to other makes and prices. What did you expect? An Apple product for 50 bucks?
About the Mimi Hearing Test, you need to turn on Apple Health access. I think the AirPods are overpriced and there is an hardware issue. I’m using an AirPods Pro for one and a half years. Every 3 to 6 months it will fail the fit test. When it fail the fit test, I notice that the earbuds sound like ear block (the feeling like there is water in your ear). Every 3 to 6 months, they will replace my earbuds but unfortunately now it over warranty and my left earbuds fail fit test all the time. So never again buy an AirPods.
Device switching is trash, even between apple devices (mac and iphone). Major sound dropouts in Teams that don't happen with any other wireless. Been using them since release and not entirely satisfied tbh, was hoping these issues would be fixed with updates.
re: hearing loss and audiogram: I recently setup the Sound Customisation for my dad using his formal Audiogram from an Ear clinic. That’s amazing!
Yep, I have hearing loss in one ear due to a car accident and these are so useful
I bought these a few days ago even though i have an Android and honestly the ANC is unrivalled.
Discounted wfxm4 is a better deal for android users
I've been using it on my s21 ultra for months, they're amazing. Still by far the best earbuds I've used
the ANC on Bose QC2 is far better than the APP2
I use the lanyard. It’s so much easier to whip them out of your pocket with it.
Me to so I done lose it ❤
The transparency mode is so good with these that I often find myself checking to make sure they are paired while sitting with my iPad becaue it sounds so realistic.
One of the main reasons I bought the AirPods Pro was to sleep in and I am side sleeper. They only fall out every great blue moon.
Yea true smart use of ANC for hearing protection 👍
It's against the law, you're welcome.

Spotify has an EQ feature that solved my problem, as I also like bass boosted feeling in my songs

For my ears maybe, for my brain maybe not 🤔
I just got this with my iPhone 12 Pro they sound phenomenal
@@pickyaudio so all earbuds have the problem? Did the first gen have it?
The problem can happen with any brand. I didn’t think it was as big of an issue with Gen 1
Excellent review, thank you! Ordered the SpinFits.
im considering them and the Sony 1000xm4. has anyone used both and can tell me which one i should choose when i mainly go to the gym and runing? i love listening to music most of the day so battery wins in Sony but what about sound and comfort? thank you!
I think the AirPods are the better option especially for comfort
Hey broo, should I buy edifiier NB2 pro or W240TN
240tn
You could just turn of Bluetooth…
I am getting brand new sony linkbud s for just over a $100. Should I buy airpods first gen or gen2 or linkbud s. Is airpod gen 2 worth spending a $150 more?
100% worth it
Everything is noticeable better on the AirPods Pro 2, plus with the IOS exclusive features then yes
Nice vid picky ❤!
Thanks bro ☺️
I never have a budge out problem, weird you have it and just happen to have a sponsor that fixes that issue 🤡
WHAT a coincidence LMFAO
The mesh changes the audio tuning, so spinfit will sound worse
I have already had mine replaced for broken anc
What’s a broken anc? FJB 🖕🇨🇳
Passthrough mode as not as good as the 1st gen buds making it a little more difficult to hear conversations when in passthrough.
how about sound quality comparing to some other buds? momentum 3?
Mtws3 are better in sound quality but comfort levels are not there.
@@prateekkinha Wdym by this? Are the Mtws3 more comfortable than the Pros 2?
@@jasontodd6248 airpods pro are lot more comfortable and convenient if you are using ios device. Mtw sounds better specially the bass.
I talked about the momentum 3 at some point. But for me AirPods Pro 2 and nothing ear 2 are my favourite balanced earbuds. Momentum 3 are slightly more bass heavy which I also like.
I use the lanyard, I don't recommend using it in it's full capacity due to the case opening and you losing your buds.
Could you do one with Oppo Enco X2
Thank you!
I wish the long press duration is shorter
Biggest problem is mic while talking
How long should the last
ive been using mine ~140 days, and I dont have any major issues with them
Very nice 👍
I hate my AirPods 3 so much they great when they work properly I use them every day and sometimes the left will not work for no reason at all and next day it’s perfectly fine I do all the tips i make sure no dirt is on contacts or inside the case and charge but the minute I take them out the case it will sho😢the right one at 100% and left at 2% or not even connected and then at the end of the day on way home I’ll put in my ears and everything is fine I use right earbud for mic so why is the left having the connection and charging issues I’ve reset them several times but still every other day i have that issue it’s so annoying I hate having to listen to music with right bud only it defeats the purpose of stereo sound
you can get eq I use one called boom 2.
👍 technics az60 review? Lg t90 review?
Bro, trust me no one give a toss about you using a voice assistant to set a timer in the gym…😂
I have a co-worker who loops her hand sanitizer through the lanyard holes.
I use the lanyard and a case on my airpods and play with the case like a yoyo 🪀 when im bord😂 but i love the airpod pro 2
Hahaha great use 😂
Are the Airpods Pro and Pro 2 good earbuds, yes.
But are they worth $250, no.
Especially since for me, they do not cover the 2 most important features in tws, the sound and especially the quality of the microphones in phone call in a noisy environment.
Earfun Air S or JBL Live Pro 2 are better in these 2 areas and cost between $60-$100 🤷🏽♂️
Ps: Airpods clearly have the best transparency mode on the market, that's a fact, but personally I very rarely use my 2 earbuds at the same time when I'm in an environment that requires a minimum of my attention, and to talk to people, respect obliges, I always remove my earbuds.
Purchased mine for $199 on sale. They’re worth it, especially when compared to other makes and prices. What did you expect? An Apple product for 50 bucks?
The most important point of the video is "Rufus Du Sol"! Fantastic band
i manage to sleep with my AirPods pro 2 in, usually listening to classical music to fall asleep
Fantastic video Thankyou
I like wired earphones more you have to pay more after years of use of AirPods
Review charjenpro foam/silicone eartips.
Wind…..noise……
About the Mimi Hearing Test, you need to turn on Apple Health access.
I think the AirPods are overpriced and there is an hardware issue. I’m using an AirPods Pro for one and a half years. Every 3 to 6 months it will fail the fit test. When it fail the fit test, I notice that the earbuds sound like ear block (the feeling like there is water in your ear). Every 3 to 6 months, they will replace my earbuds but unfortunately now it over warranty and my left earbuds fail fit test all the time. So never again buy an AirPods.
The thumbnail isn’t AirPods Pro 2
This is true
airpods pro 2 are little bit too bassy too for my liking.
Got an iPhone 14 pro. Still using my galaxy buds+ and don’t intend to update them anytime soon. Excellent sound, good fit for a fraction of the price
Your opinion is irrelevant to the video lmao
@@Osamabr who?
I can’t seem to connect them to my iPhone :(
Galaxy Buds2 pro review!
Some people are completely deff in one ear - if some features don’t make sense remember these people lol.
Device switching is trash, even between apple devices (mac and iphone). Major sound dropouts in Teams that don't happen with any other wireless. Been using them since release and not entirely satisfied tbh, was hoping these issues would be fixed with updates.
And here I’m with no EarPods 😢
Nice t-shirt
Thanks ☺️
How good the noise cancelling is depends on the size of your ear canals hahah what obviously. Hint your ears aren't the same as everyone else's bubba.
I like use it on my Xbox
Does it work good on that
@@vincecool72 yes
I use the lanyard loop 😢
I side sleep with the AirPod pros 😢

Some how my ears are ringing and I’m not the only one…. Please spread the word if so.
these airpods pro 2 have very very bad call quality 😢
i have a very easy time sleeping with them in tbh
