Your 20s SHOULD be unconventional and full of experiences like this! Take it from someone like me, I just turned 28 and I have lived in three states but moving to a lot of different locations within Maine, California, and now the DC area.
Moving to so many places lets you meet new people, experience new things, and develop new perspectives on life. You got this and I am so glad I found your channel!
I moved to a new city where I didn't know anyone at age 23 (Portland OR); 27 (NYC), 34 (Oakland), 40 (St. Louis) before moving back to Seattle at age 41, which after 18 years away may as well have been new in terms of having a community/friends/etc. I find it super exciting!
I escaped a very abusive relationship with a legit psychopath in my 20s and that feels like a whole other life now so regardless of what your going through TRUST ME you will make it ♡ You got this friend (insert giant virtual hug)
I am in my 30s and I have also moved like 5-7 times. I don't regret it at all because it is better to test your next 30 years rather than to see what you want in your 50s
Bingo! I just made a comment on this about your 20s being unconventional in a sense where moving to new locations lets you meet new people and try to new things! I would rather my 20s be turbulent with moving around and trying to figure out what I want to do, than not do anything at all.
Yes! Just in last 10 years, I’ve moved 5 times for new jobs and it’s prob the most pivotal reason why I’ve advanced so far in salary and savings. Being able to move every 2-3 years gave me so many opportunities in terms of work, exploring new cities, meeting new people and learning more about myself. I definitely have no regrets and would move again if the right opportunity came along.
Until you find yourself without having accomplished anything nor being established because you were too incompetent to build a solid foundation that will hurt more so don't waste your 30s nor your 20s

In my mid 20’s I moved across country twice within a few months, landing in Chicago. It was a hard transition but a good one ultimately. Gosh, I just can’t stop thinking about how hurt I was when I landed at O’Hare and how the next year was such a fulfilling journey.
I adore how the vibe was at the cooking class, everyone was smiling and sharing the moment together, so sweet!

I currently have a job where I do multiple jobs - RBT, but also I’m the administrator/recruiter/trainer/networker/social media manager for the company I work for. I learned when I’m overwhelmed or just exhausted and I feel all over the place, I do a quick brain dump. I brain dump using singular words for full thoughts. For example, if my mind is racing about the fact I need to cook but also need to grocery shop but the fact I should plan my meals so I know what to buy and fall into a spiral…I simply write down “groceries” and all my thoughts surrounding that word just kind of fade away. THEN I can set my pomodoro timer and get into the work zone. My mom is a therapist and she suggested that and it’s been a godsend
Whatever the reason prayers are going up for you and that this move will be just the thing that you need and to make you happy and figure out whatever it is you need to figure out and did great in your life. Welcome back to SoCal! Resonating with this, born n raised here. I moved back to OC after being gone for 11yrs. I was so not okay with moving back. It was an unfortunate situation, & I also made the decision to move in a couple of days. It was crazy, & a lot to process. Things are finally coming together, & for the first time in so long I feel good I'm back. I went to the beach to just sit the other day & took in the sunset. Idk, something just felt different. I felt at home again. I sorta remembered that I used to like living here. I've been avoiding LA, another story. But, I've been thinking about taking the train maybe, go shopping, visit some old spots. Just getting back out there ya know?! I honestly used to really like SoCal, I think I needed those years away, I'm a different person now. Like you said, more confident, etc. I actually want to go back to school even. I feel empowered this year. Thanks for sharing your journey! I've been following your channel for a few months now, I didn't know you were from the area, that's cool.

I can't speak to what you're going through, but last year, just before the holidays, I found myself in a situation. I'm not sure if I fell off the wall, was pushed off, or if the wall fell on me but, I had to make some decisions and own up to serious accountability. It sucks; there's no other way to look at it. Whatever you're dealing with, everyone has their struggles. I hope this marks the beginning of an authentic and kind chapter in your life. -it did for me. I completely feel your feelings because a similar situation happened to me back in May 2023 and it was involving family members and we had a perfect home a perfect situation and due to greed… a family member decided to sell the house and this caused me to immediately evacuate from my home and find a place within a week and it was very heartbreaking. It caused rift in my family personally, and I’m still having to deal with the feelings of betrayal, hurt and anxiety… hang in there. I know that we’re hanging on with you.

I'm 28 and just moved back to SoCal after a ~traumatic~ experience while living on the east coast for the past 9 years, and it's made me have a lot of doubt and concern about what I'm doing w/ my life. I'm currently interviewing for a dream role in LA and looking at apartments out there should it all work out, and your video just provided so much comfort. I'm sorry about whatever transpired that made you have to leave- you clearly have a bright, kind soul and deserve nothing but good things- but if it's any consolation your journey is incredibly inspiring and validating for people like myself going through similar tumultuous eras.

All feelings you're feeling can co exist at the same time, be gentle with yourself. Whatever you're going through, your feelings are valid. You matter and everything will be ok. Eventually. Just be patient with yourself and show yourself grace throughout. Take one day at a time. Please eat well, on time. Stay hydrated. Be gentle, change can be a form of grief too. So just know, it's ok to not be ok. Sending you love & light through this stage, it will pass. Be kind to yourself
Many people in their 20's have moved many times. Myself included have lived in AZ, NY, TX and currently back in PA. Lets just say when we are young our hormones are raging and we need our Freedom, Self Discovery, Comfort, and Peace. If you had grown up with strict parents than you will most likely be rebellious and outspoken as you've grown older. Good luck and hope you find your inner peace and stability.

it sounds like you're going through your Saturn Return! i had a similar experience and moved back home after almost a decade of being away. things eventually ironed out and im on a different and more rewarding career path now (a teacher). give it time and be open to change. best of luck girlie! ♡

I'm at this weird place n my life bc I just moved back in with my parents and I'm one semester away from graduating uni + I'm already starting to look for a job for after uni and I'm also trying to figure out if, when and where I want to move but all of that it feels so intimidating since I'm still batteling with some mental health issues. This video gave me some comfort, so thank you for uploading this :) 💕
You got this Pep! Moving back in with your parents is nothing to be ashamed of, especially with trying to find a job after college. That was me when I graduated in 2017 for a while and it was tough finding a job. It is intimidating as heck but you can survive it because you will make it out stronger! Cheers!

LA traffic is so manageable compared to FL traffic. In LA it’s traffic for miles but it’s constant moving. FL is like congested, slow moving stopping and going traffic for 30 minutes for 2 miles and the other 30 miles takes 30 minutes 😂😂
