Modak is considered to be the favourite sweet of the Hindu deity, Lord Ganesha. Because of his Modak love,
Lord Ganesha is known as 'Modakapriya' (one who likes modak).
The word modak means 'small part of Bliss'and it symbolises Spiritual Knowledge.
It is an authentic Maharashtrian dish. It is made specially on Ganesha/Ganpati festival as a Prasad/Offering.
There are many versions of Modak,here is an instant version.
Here is a Simple, easy, Instant Version... Rasmalai modak. Requires few ingredients.

No essence or food colour is used in this video, however, you can use Rasmalai essence, and a pich of food colour.
