I love the "loud silence". It's the hushed movement of chairs, silent coughing, turning of pages. Even the muffled automobile noise from outside is so sooooo appreciated.

Bruh, I really fcking miss going to libraries and just study for hours. I'm not the type of person who could study for long hours at home, but watching "study with me..." videos really helps! Good luck everyone and keep on grinding!

You have no idea how much this has helped me study it’s like so weird to think of it but it really really has. I failed my whole first year @ college bc I really thought I didn’t have to study LOL. I left for 2 years bc I felt really down on myself and then I came back and told myself I’d never do that again. But I still found it ridiculously hard to motivate myself to study. I came across like two videos of students studying like @ Cambridge or just a library and I don’t know what it is about the back ground noise, but the ambience of of studying is what gets me to study, so I really appreciate your videos!

@@emilyaponte4818 Ah, I see. I remember being quite sad when, in a very competitive program, someone who I knew was highly intelligent failed out as a consequence of similar anxieties.
Myself, I found that I got too distracted in study groups. I'd go to the "stacks," the quasi-abandoned part of the library, and sit on the floor in a nook, where there was an almost 0% probability of me running into anyone. Truthfully, I preferred studying outside, but I kept running into people I knew. When I was in grad school, I'd actually go to the undergraduate area of the campus so I wouldn't see anyone I recognized and get into a conversation.
elenchus wow see I thought I was better off studying alone at first, since it was the only way I had studied during high school. Once I entered university it was different. I understand what you mean though, sometimes I do find it distracting. But I I’ve learned that as long as I keep my headphones in and listen to either classical music or videos like this one that I can stay focused.
Unfortunately I hadn’t learned this fast enough, and failed my first year in university, so I was academically disqualified. I took a 2 year gap off, and just returned this semester, and honestly I’m so grateful I’ve learned what I have. Anxieties are okay, distracting, but I’ve learned that I’ll always find a solution.

I actually wrote a lot in pencil on the wooden shelves of the stacks where I hid out. Sad that they rebuilt that library.
To be honest, your videos have completely changed my study routine. I honestly love your study with me videos because I don't feel like I am the only one studying for something super important that could impact my life. Thanks for the company. 💖
I have this video on in the background every time I do my homework now, its so peaceful yet makes me feel not as alone when I have to study in my silent room late into the night.
As I sit here on a lovely Sunday grading papers, this gives me company. The sounds are so calming, allowing me to pretend I am back in my university library.

You're not allowed to have a water bottle on the desk at the NYPL. It has to be tucked away in your bag.
Water bottle is compulaory because take oxygen with the help of water

@@kuldeepsah531 Sure, but there are rules at the NYPL. No water bottles on the desks/tables. No food on the desks/tables. We can take a drink from the bottle, but it has to be put away immediately. No eating in the library at all. Rules are rules.

wooow i used to study with this video a lot back in February 2020, before the lockdown. Now it's 2021, February almost here and i feel like i wasted the whole year. Anyways, I'm back! I gotta study hard until June/July then I'll be free and hopefully be in a good college. If you also feel like me, remember that it is okay to take a break and you get this!!!!!

I have a midterm tomorrow, I couldn't really focus so I thought why not give this video another chance. I have 3 assignments and a lot of homework to do but I'm having trouble keeping my mind to focus and concentrate on school work at home. Whenever I try to study, I always find myself doing nothing and procrastinate in the end. Thus,I really need the 'studying environment' atmosphere so I can finish up all my works before school re-open again. This video really helps btw.
